Hi Emptybox.

Not sure what it's doing out, haven't seen outside since 6.30am.
Don't think many would be voting for Andrew to leave, not with the awful Dave.
Maybe Andrew was confident around girls because he has sisters or something, but he's not experienced with them anyway.
I think he's just greatful for any affection, but Dave amkes me sick.

Hi Mike
welcome back.
Sorry to hear you have been having a hard time of iately.
Hope things improve soon.
M
Good evening all
another lovely day, hope it is where you are too.

Hicky
hope they didn't overwork you today.
What type of fruit trees are you hoping to get?  I bet the fruit from your own will be the best you can get.
Are you hoping for a female new HM?
I think I'd prefer a female to balance numbers, but hope it is one who really wants to be there this time.

Emptybox
Have you been doing your gardens today?
Did you see Keely on BBLB?  I am glad she got her interview and "best bits". I thought she still looked a bit peaky, compared to how she looked in the house. But it must take a long time to get over a big op like that. Let's hope it heals well.

I agree with Hicky, I think Andrew is used to girls, but not experienced with women and dating. He says he has never had a proper gf. It is like my teenage boys, they are used to having girls around because of their sister and her friends, but they wouldn't have a clue how to chat a woman up.   Seems like he has a crush on Josie, because she does tend to encourage it.

I love this weeks  task, so funny, I saw the Marcus Bentley part on livefeed yesterday.Brilliant   .....and I have no complaints at all about the stripping postman yesterday, and the rather fetching manly bot in the shower today.    No way could I do this task, I woud not be able to hold off the giggles. Looking forward to seeing it on highlights tonight.

have a good evening.

Coronation Street time.
It is good to see that Corin and Ben are Corrie fans too.
M
Evening all.

Hi Mike. Nice to hear from you again. Hope things improve for you soon.

Hi Mollie. Yes, it was lovely to see Keeley again on BBLB. A very short interview though, and I noticed they didn't mention or show her ankle.
I see she is backing Steve to win.
Yeah, she didn't look all that well. Hope she is able to make Finale night.

It was a lovely day here, so i got a lot done. The flies were awful though.

Have to admit this task is very funny. Corin was brilliant with the custard pies.
I see Steve and Dave's wives were in the house today. Dave's wife looked very nice. Steve's looked..er..interesting.
Looks like Ben is favourite to go now. Not sure why the odds have changed?
emptybox
Good Afternoon Everyone.

Couldn't get the Submit Reply button to work,
They seem to have changed the url and I don't think my security would allow the Post Reply box as it's a popup.

Hi Mike, Sorry to hear things haven't been good, hope they sort themselves out.

The Fruit trees I am after are a bit unusual.
Dwarf Cherry, Dwarf Apple, Dwarf Peach, Dwarf Pear, I'd want a Plum as well if I can right the right root stock.

Hoping a new female goes in, we have enough nutty fellers to last a lifetime.
Never seen a bunch of fellers like this in my life, it's like being in Singapore down town.

It was good seeing people into the house, wasn't Corin super with the cream pies, she should win this show I think.
That would teach the others to be so miserable wouldn't it?

Did a bit more work in the garden, but it keeps raining when I go out.

Got my final fitting for my wedding suit, got my toe nails done this morning.
Just got to get my hair cut.

I wasn't at work yesterday or today, back in Monday.
Hicky
Evening.

Sunshine and showers today, but I got a bit done.

You'll be disappointed by the new HM Hicky. It's that blasted Sam.
The one who had the multi-coloured clothes.
Everybody is going to hate him, including me.

Dwarf fruit trees sound good, and won't take too much maintenance.

What colour did you decide on, for your toenails Hicky?

I hear Davina is doing some of her announcements from within the house tonight.
That should be good.
Not looking forward to Jedward though.
emptybox
Good evening all

Emptybox
Glad you had another nice day to catch up work wise.  Are the flies everywhere in general, or just in certain gardens? Do you get midges there?
Yes it would be nice if poor Keeley made finale night, but she ddint look up to doing much at all yet. I guess it is quite a few weeks till finale, so she has quite a bit of time to perk up.
Forgot to say, that I   at your suggestion Laura may of lett because of the bad smells in the house. I think you are probably right there. I could not live in such a mess. They even just chuck their damp towels on the bathroom floor.

I agree with you both, Corin was just brilliant with those pies. I just so much at her.
It is indeed a brilliant task.

Hicky
hope you enjoy your long weekend break from work.  And I hope the rain eases so you can get in your garden. That sounds a great selection of fruit trees you have planned. You are busy getting all organised for the wedding. Is it a week tommorrow? Let's hope for a nice day.

at you relating our male BB HM's to Singapore down towners. Yes there is a distinct lack of testosterone in there this year. They do their make up, paint their nails, and apply their moistoiriser more ofen than any female I know.  It was such a relief to see that male postman stripper call in.

OH had half day today, so we met a friend. We went to coffe bar, and i had blueberry muffin and capaccino. Then it was a bit late to cook. so we got fish and chips for family on the way home.   Our friends live near this posh village, so we love to go to the charity shops there. You get expesnive stuff, often not ever worn. I got a lovely top, with all coloured beads round the top for ÂĢ3.50.

Hope you both enjoy BB eviction night.
I am looking forward to seeing Jedward. .
M
Emptybox
your post popped up after I did mine.
I expect you have gone now though, to join Hicky in painting your nails.
I just heard Dave say that the Mole is going to give him a body rub ready for eviction night. Think I wll make a point of switching off livefeed for that.

So you are not a Jedward fan then?
I think they are awful singers, but are entertaining, and fun, so I enjoy seeing them.

I dont think Hicky will be happy with Sam going in. I thought they would put the girl in. Perhaps they put him in because they know none of the HM's wanted to choose him last week, so it would annoy the HM's. Cant see him doing much though, because he is very young, he will probably dry up with nerves as soon as he gets in the house with this lot of nutters.
M
Looks like it's bye bye Ben then?

Hi mollie. Glad you enjoyed your half day with your OH and friend.

Luckily there aren't any midges in this part of Scotland, they would be horrific.
The flies are bad enough, and they seem worse up in the hills. They are always biting away at the back of your neck.
I wear sunblock that is supposed to contain insect repellant, but nobody seems to have told the flies that.

I think I'll paint my toenails a nice shade of peach, while I watch Ben's eviction.

ETA: Silly little b*gg*rs.
Actually, I quite like that song.

Hi Emptybox & Mollie.

I enjoyed the show tonight, pity Ben went, that's going to upset the apple cart in the house.

Have to get my toe nails done, can't manage myself too easy, a bit expensive but what can I do?

I'm all ready for the Wedding now, new shoes as well, saves cleaning the other ones.

Went to Costco this afternoon, they had a nice Grape Vine for sale, it even had a bunch of grapes on it, couldn't resist, will have to get the copmpost and pot tomorrow.

Also got my crab legs, Sushi, a bug box of chicken wings for ÂĢ2.99, had 2 plates all ready and you can't tell any have gone.
Got a Haggis as well, the real one.

Ah well, another Friday over I suppose.
Hicky
Hi Emptybox.

Haven't been able to get the page all day, then it said server error, had to go out and come back in from Forums.
Don't know what is going on.

Built my new Trellis, got the big tub and the correct composts for the vine.
This one is a 'Vitis Vinifera' and is a good climber, it came with a bunch of grapes on it.
This is no. 4 so far, i just like to see them growing.

Have got my winter spuds now as well, if weather ok will plant them tomorrow, have to get the old plants up first and see if I got any from them.

Been watching a bit of BB, nothing much happening, they all got messages for home, Dave was moaning that his Kids wearnt on the VT.
Hicky
Evening.
Sunshine and showers again, but i managed to get some work done, and i got my own grass cut as well.

I see they've had their messages from home on BB. That'll be good to see tomorrow night.

This sites been playing up today, so I'm not confident that this post will work.

Hi Hicky.
I didn't see your post before I made mine.
I hadn't heard of 'winter potatoes', but i just looked them up. Good luck with them.

Your vineyard is really coming along now.

Good afternoon all
Another nice day here today, hope it is where you are.
Just watched BBLB, and they said about Chantelle and Preston going into house for Allstars.

Emptybox
those biting flies don't sound good. Do they disappear when autumn arrives? I heard that eucalyptus or lemon based creams make good repellent. But me and my family use this very usefull spray, apply every couple of hours, and bugs avoid you...it has lots of other uses too (see article below)

http://avonshop.co.uk/product/...p;otc=&bnd=&

http://www.associatedcontent.c...avon_skin.html?cat=7

A a lot of people i met in Australia used it. (horrid mosquitos over there), and I was told they used it for Marine commandos, and Lord Licfield used it for his models when they go on shoots where bugs lurk. No strong harmfull chemicals, like repellants, and good for skin, doesn't smell "girlie".
If you want to give it a try, I have lots of bottles,I'll give you one. So if you facny,  just email or pm me your full address.

Hicky
how lovely that you happened to find that vine. Fingers crosed it does well in your garden.Hope the winter poatoes do well too, I have never heard of them either, will look them up.
Sounds like you are going to be enjoying your Costco food all weekend.
Glad to hear you are all set up for the wedding now.
that with your new shoes means you dont need to clean any now.

Went swimming this morning. When we left, over my swimsuit, I was wearing a very thin flowery dress, so had  a black vest T shirt under it. When I got in the water, I found it harder swimming than usual, then realised I had forgotten to take my T shirt off before I went in the water.   So I had to take it off and threw it on the side.

OH is cutting our grass now, I have washed our summer quilt, and it is drying nicely.
Sam is a bit of a character, isn't he?
let's hope for some good tasks this week now.

Have a good Sunday. xxx  Hope this posts ok.
site still strange...
M
Hi Mollie.
It was fine here this morning, but it's raining now.
I've just been into town for my provisions.

I'd heard that rumour about Chantelle and Preston going in to the All-Stars house.
I think Chantelle has a good chance, but i very much doubt if Preston will be there. I think he'd be "too cool for school" But you never know. He hasn't had much success since he left the Ordinary Boys.

I read the stuff about that skin oil that you posted. It might be quite good? Surprising that it keeps insects away as well as keeping your skin soft?
I might take you up on your kind offer of a sample, if it's not too much trouble, and you can find an easy way to post it.
I'll email you my full address. Thanks in advance.

Not too sure what to have for supper? I bought a chicken and pasta caesar salad from the supermarket, and had that for my lunch. There was more of it than I thought, and it was quite filling, so I might just have something light tonight.

That Sam hasn't been quite as bad as I'd thought, but I hear he keeps winding Josie up, and has had to be warned in the diaryroom, about something already, so i doubt he'll last long?
emptybox
Good Evening Emptybox & Mollie.

A funny sort of a day, but wasn't too bad in the end.
Emptied 1 of the spud growing bags, got less that expected, don't thinkl the compost was moist enough, very hard to get that right.
Gave my lad some spuds, a load of carrots, a load of pea's & a courgette, I have lettuce ready but it's not that warm really.

Dave is not happy about his message, he can't understand why his kids aren't on them, but his O/H has been down in the studio.

I'm just eating a couple of Turkish Delight, so good, I try to keep a stock in the drawer, but I can't getr them to last.

Have loads of food in the fridge, and with my little Costco trip, wow, the crab legs and some spanish snack food 'Tappas' so tasty.
Have even got a Chicken Dopiaza curry that my O/H brought back.

I have planted my winter spuds, they only take 12 weeks to grow, I need another packet though, only bought 9 spuds and you put 3 in each bag, need another 9, I'll go Tuesday and see if they have any left.

That Avon SSS sounds good, it's got 100 uses, that can't be bad.
Don't they sell it in the Chemists then?

I'm liking Sam, will have to see how he gets on though.
Nomination should be good this week, can't even guess whoo will be up really.

Had the little lad round today, he loves going round the garden, he was eating the peas as well.

Work tomorrow, bet the Sun comes out all day.
Hicky
Evening.
Cloudy, grey and rather chilly today, but it stayed dry so i got some work done.

Hope you get a good result with your winter spuds Hicky.
My 'early' ones are only giving a few potatoes each, but large ones, so i only need 1 or 2 for each meal.
My tomatoes are starting to ripen now, but they're not particularly good. The skins are a bit tough, and some of them have what's called "blossom end rot", where the end of the tomatoes goes black. You can still eat them though, you just have to cut that bit off. It's not a disease. It's caused by lack of calcium.
I think I'll try grow bags next year.

Mollie. I'll have a look in the chemist next time I'm in town, to see if I can buy that Avon Skin so Soft. That would save you having to send it to me.
If I can't find it I'll let you know.

Must say, i can't stand that Sam at all. Or rather, i should say, I would hate to meet him in real life, but I guess he is quite entertaining in the house.
emptybox
Good evening all.

Hicky
hope they didn't overwork you today. Can you still get livefeed at work? Hope so.
You do have a lot of veg ready now. Glad the little fella enjoyed the peas, nice and tasty, but good for him too.
I like Sam too, he makes me   For such a youngster, he seems to have a good memory of who does and says what. Seems to be a good cook too, the way he rustled up some Scotch pancakes this morning.

You can't buy Avon at the shops, only online or from the Avon lady who calls to houses. i hope it helps keep those flies at bay for you Emptybox. Should be easy for you to reaply too when you are out because it comes in a light spray bottle.

Emptybox
no problem sending you one of mine to try, I will get a spay off to you as soon as I next go to the post office. ....that reminds me, the accountant sent loads of paperwork for me to go through and post for the end of year accounts, and I haven't even looked at them yet. Sooo boring.

Yes i was a bit surpised to hear that Preston might be going in, but if you say his music career isn't doing so well, maybe he needs it to raise his profile?
It will be nice to see Chantelle again.

It was another nice day here today, so got all the sheets nicely dried outside.

goodnight all.
M
Posted together Emptybox...
as I said, dont bother looking in chemist, you wont find the spray in any shop. I dont mind posting one, I sent for loads together last time they were on offer, so have plenty.
Glad yoou managed to get some work done. Still warm here, but didn't seem quite so hot thank goodness.
Shame your tomatoes havent done so well this year.
M
Hello Emptybox & Mollie.
Haven't been able to get on.
Not been very Sunny here, far too much cloud.
Am looking into the Decking for the garden, it's pretty expensive stuff though.
It will be about 5M x 3.5M

Have been putting some weed killer down to help out.
I had an Avon book through the door, will have a look in it.
Asked my O/H about the SSS and she said she tried Avon when she was a youngish girl and it gave her a rash, she's never touched it since.
She has very sensitive skin and can't put anything on it.
At work tomorrow,
Have a Dentist appointment on the morning of the Wedding.
Hicky
Evening.

Another cloudy day here. I don't know where the summer has gone.
Still got some work done.

Can't resist posting this lovely first Mum & baby pic of Chanelle Hayes and Blakely Hayes-Bates.

I see it's Rachel, John-James and Dave up this week.
I expect it'll be Dave that goes? Or maybe Rachel, if she's annoyed enough people?
emptybox
Good morning all
Hicky
yes, that is the trouble decking is expensive, but we loved ours when it was all done, so I think it is worth it.
Wont you be in a bit of a rush to get ready if you have the dentist the same day as the wedding?  Is it just for a check up? You dont want to be missing out on the wedding feast.

Emptybox
Aaawww, what a cute baby pic.
But it is amazing how something so small can cause so much work, and leave you so short on sleep. So, as you say Hicky, she wil need plenty of help and support. Let's hope that the father gives it.

I really hope Rachael stays on Friday, we don't want to lose another girl. She is a bit loud, but I think she is an ok girl. Plus Dave and JJ get on my nerves.

Had some heavy rain here this morning, but it has dried up now.
I am looking forward to this Dickens task.

have a good day  all. xxx
M
Hi Mollie.

The Decking does seem pretty expensive, I'll get some prices anyway.
I need about 3.5m x 5m in all, but no hurry, have loads of stuff to do in the garden.

I'll be mad if Dave doesn't go Friday, just hope they don't have a twitter drive like last week, that got Ben voted out when it should have been someone else, but with a co-ordinated attack you can get anyone out.
Theyu just wait for the odd to be good then attack and get a good price.
It's all rigged like all voting.

I've changed the Dental appointment to tomorrow(Thursday) just in case, it's only a check-up really, but may need some work done.

This Dickens task looks crazy, boring for some of them anyway.
Hicky
Hicky
yes, best to shop around for the decking.
Glad to see you managed to change your dentist appointment, just incase he decides to do some work. (hopefully not though)..And besides someone might need you to do some pre wedding running around at the last minute.
This BB betting thing is ridulous, I will not be happy if Rachel ends up going though.

Look North tonight , if it is not cloudy, because we migt get to see the Northern lights.

and if your broadband goes wonky, that could explain it..

M
Hi Mollie and Hicky.

Funny day weatherwise. Wet this morning. Dry but cloudy this afternoon, but sunny and warm just now.

I saw that about the Northern Lights Mollie. I guess I'm more likely to see it than you, being further north?
Wonder if it'll affect satellite TV?

I also hope Rachel stays. She's very juvenile for her age, but quite fun.
I see JJ1 and Rachel have already given up on their part of the Dickens task. Mind you, it meant they had to spend all day together.

Hicky. Here's the link to the Chanelle forum  - http://s3.excoboard.com/ChanelleHayes
If you lose it again just google "chanelle excoboard" (without the quotes), and it's always the first result.
emptybox
Hi Emptybox.

Rained again today, not so good for those on holiday in the UK.
Not bothered about the Northern lights, can always see plenty of lights at Blackpool in the winter.

Hope it doesn't effect the TV though or the internet.
Will be upset if Dave doesn't go Friday.

I found my s3 link Emptybox, it's just that I have so many, but all over the place.

Saw the other pictures on s3, she looked fine didn't she, baby is coming on good.
Glad she's giving the baby her own milk, it's always best if possible, don't think enough do these days, but I'm pretty sure that's best for the baby.

This Dickens task looks crazy, well thought out and costumed etc, with good props.
Hicky
Mollie thanks.
I got that Avon SSS in the post today.

I've put some on the back of my neck, and it's certainly soft.
I'm going out in a bit, so I'll report back on wether it keeps the flies away.

I presume it can go on top of sun-block? Not that there's much sun here today.

ETA: Well I got 2 hours of work done, then we had a huge thunder plump.
The flies were still buzzing around, but they weren't biting so much at my neck where I'd sprayed the oil, so it seems promising. Although I'll need to do more extensive research before a definitive conclusion can be reached.

Good evening all

Hicky
hope it was a bit drier for you today. We dont seem to of had much rain here, just the odd shower.
Yes I agree, it is good and nautrual if she is feeding the baby herself.
Is it the wedding this Saturday?  It is your lad getting married, isn't it?

Emptybox
glad you got the spray ok. Lets hope it does reduce those bites. Remember to re-spay every hour and half or so, inbetween jobs. At least you know it is safer than those strong repellants.
Glad you managed to squeeze a couple of hours in before the rain storm.

I too really like this Dickens task.
Billiant costumes, JJ2 did well in the song, but think Josie could of tried harder at rehearsals.

I watched some livefeed yesterday, and was mad that John  was trying to put the blame on Rachel for giving up, when he spoke to the others. John behaved like a spoilt todler from the word go, when he realised he had not got a staring role for the task.   Rachel had a bit of a moan because she didn't want to be away from the others, but john was the worse, he did nothing but try and talk her into quiting.   Such a shame if she had to leave now, I think she is a nice girl.

I did look for the northern lights, but didnt see them.
M
Evening Emptybox & Mollie.

Will be disappointed if Dave stays Friday.

I saw that spray, an Avon  Catalogue came through the door the other day and I could see the the spray in it, half price at the Mo.

The Wedding is tomorrow, a bit unusual I know.
I went to the Dentist this morning, no Problem, see him again in 6 months.
Went to Morrison's for breckie then went to get my hair done, then went for fuel, then went to garden centre for some more Autumn seed potatoes so I'll have them for Christmas, go t a load of composts, some John Innis No.3 and some top soil.

Not impressed with this BB shopping task, seems crazy to me.

It was funny when Corin got JJ to sleep with her, she's sure game for a laugh, but I think he's worried about her having a G/F at home.

It's going to be a busy day tomorrow, my Lad is staying here tonight.
Hicky
Hi Hicky.
A busy day for you tomorrow.
Hope the wedding goes well.

I think the task is great.
Corin makes a great Scrooge. But i don't remember Scrooge having a mini-skirt?
I like the way they have mario as David Copperfield. but not the Dickens version, the Hollywood magician.

I hated the way John james blamed Rachel for giving up their part of the task, as well Mollie. When it was all down to him.
In fact I've just put in a vote to evict him, on the strength of it.

It was great seeing Ash again on BBLB.

Evening.

A very showery day today, so no grass cutting.

I was just watching that new comedy, in-between the 2 Big Brother episodes.
Not as good as the IT crowd, but still worth a chuckle or 2.

Hope you are having a good time at your lad's wedding Hicky.

I had a salmon fishcake for supper tonight. One of the things I got from M&S a couple of weeks ago.

Unfortunately i think Rachel will go tonight.
But mario's magic trick with Davina should be good.
emptybox
Good evening all.

Hicky
Hope you have enjoyed the wedding. Did the rain hold off?
Will you be adding any pics of the wedding to your site? The other ones you had on there were lovely.
Glad to hear the dentist was problem free this time.
If the spray is half price, I will order lots to add to my stock. I only buy them when they are on offer.   Hope Emptybox's is helping him keep bite free.

Emptybox
was it dry enough for your gardening today?
I think Scrooge got a bit overitate tonight, didnt she?
But no  wonder Sam was questioning her when he found out they were thinking of reducing the food tokens to one a day, and they had used 17 in a couple of days on smoking.
I like this task.

Good for you throwing a vote in JJ's direction. He is just so horrid at times. Poor Rachel, she has done nothing wrong.

I have made a start on my paperwork today, but stil have lots to do.

When me and son took our dog a walk last night a little pug dog came running up to us. He had obviously escaped from somewhere. We realised we had seen him at a house quite a walk away down the other end of the lane. So we took him to this house. No one was in, so I asked the people next door where I know the lady, and she said that yes, that was next doors little pug, so we kindly put him back in his own garden, and the lady said she would phone her neighbour and tell him we had put his dog back safely in his garden. So I just carried on walking our dog.  On the way back I met this neighbour to the dog, and she said "I have a feeling now that is not next doors dog, his bark sounds diffferent". Oh heck, what should we do?  Then suddenly the man pulled up onto his drive, and in the car with him was his own pug dog.   He was shocked to see an alien doggie in his garden, who looked just like his own dog.   In the end, he came back to our street, and we knocked on doors asking if anyone knew the dog. 4 door knocks later, and we decided to take little doggie to vets, Then suddenly 2 little kiddies came up to us and said they knew the dog. It was some new peoples who moved in recently, so that is why we didnt' know the little doggie.   And this house was only next door but one to us, so helpfull me had taken this dog a long way from home, and dumped it in some strangers garden, when he was close to me all along. the owner was glad to have him back, one of the kiddies had left her gate open, and the little doggie was only 7 months old.

nearly time for eviction. I dont think I am going to be happy about who leaves this week.
M
Good Afternoon Emptybox & Mollie.

What a day, it was lovely, the Service everything, nice & small, and short, suited me down to the ground.
The rain stopped as the service ended so that was good, it's a lovely place.
The Bride looked so lovely, and her Daughter Willow was the Bridesmaid in Red, with the Pageboy her Son Rhen.

I've uploaded some pictures on my Facebook page, hope you will be able to see them, If you can't I'll upload them to Photobucket as well.
Just goto the Paul & Kelly Wedding Album.

http://www.facebook.com/album....398&l=7827df20d8

They are going away for a short Honeymoon to Turkey for a week,

Thought Rachel would go, she was far too loud, shot herself in the foot, she should have taken their in house comments more serious.

John isn't doing himself any favours either.
Loving Corin, she's a real trooper.

I wonder who will be up for noms next week then?

I had no Sausages for brekkie so went out to a local garden centre that has a butchers section and got some packs of sausages, 4 packs of 6 big sausages for ÂĢ10
Very enjoyable to, O/H was pleased as well.
I had got 2 packs of plain and 2 packs of Cumberland.
They had about a dozen different sorts but O/H won't eat any of those.

Weather not too bad today, no rain so far.
