Hi Hicky.

Dull and cloudy today, but it stayed dry, so i got the 3Â― hr job done that I meant to do on Saturday, plus some other stuff.

Yes i know to do a proper job you should strip the paint back, but that would be a massive job to get the paint and underseal off, and it's only a bit of surface rust, so a coat or 2 of paint will have to suffice. Van sills are quite easily replaced when they get perforated, but mine is only 6 years old, so that shouldn't need doing for a couple of years yet, hopefully.
Unfortunately they don't make vans to last, like they do Landrovers.

I see Sam has been a mischief again, stealing Corin's make-up and wigs. She wasn't too annoyed though, so Dave's schemes came to nought.

I see that Chantelle Twitter that you follow is saying that she is going into the house. But I'm certain that is a fake Chantelle unfortunately.
She probably is going in though.

The odds on who will go on Friday keep changing, but I think John James may well go.
emptybox

Hi Emptybox.

It's not been so good here, raining most of the morning, went out this afternoon to get some more Trellis, have built that up now.

Got some more weed killer.

The edging came as well, have changed part og the design, the quarter circles which will be Moonstone flint will have 3 flat sides, it's not so boring.

Have ordered a Turf Cutter 300mm width cut for the weekend, will remove the Turf from the area's that will be either Stone or Decking.

Just made a lovely pan of mince with carrots and onions.

Gave my lad a load of Spuds from the garden and a load of carrots, some where massive, and a load of Peas and a Corgette.

Working tomorrow so won't be able to work in the garden.

Have ordered the Decking, it said they will ring to confirm delivery etc.
Will wait till it arrives then sort out how I am going to stand it off the ground, I'll probably need a load of posts and concrete them in.

We have all just loast Live Feed due to the weather at the site, it's lashing down, but think they switch off as much as possible because of a lightning strike.

Hope Mollie has been enjoying herself while she's been away.
My Lad is back, they had a great time, I may have told you.

Hicky
Hi Hicky.

Glad the happy couple had a good honeymoon.

Was wet to begin with here, but the rest of the day was dry.

The Big Brother house has been flooded out.
The housemates have been evacuated to an hotel.
It looks like that might be the end of the series, unless they can sort out an alternative venue?

I suppose they could carry on with the voting, and decide the winner of BB11 while the HMs were is an hotel. But I think they would cancel the All-Stars series.

What an absolute fiasco. Surely the building should have been watertight?
Imbeciles.

I just hope something can be worked out. Perhaps the damage isn't as bad as first thought?
emptybox
Good Morning Emptybox.

Didn't realise the HM's had been evacuated.
I could see the downpour last night on Live feed, like a Monsoon.
They then cut off the feed, I assumed in case of a lightning strike.

Before I forget, here Ash on the WENN site, don't forget to refresh 'F5' when the page comes up.
http://photo.wenn.com/index.php?action=quicksearch&ppid=122071&version=uk

We'll just have to wait and see what happens next with BB, no idea what will happen now.
That's a bit of a blow.

It must be all right this morning as the twitter from #BB11 is working as Normal.
See Here.   07:02 Dave wakes up, takes several large gulps of his drink, then goes back to sleep #BB11
Hicky
Hi Hicky.

Yeah, the house was in a right mess, but it looks like they may be able to sort it, so hopefully the Ultimate series may go ahead.
Although the latest rumours are that they have cut the total number of housemates to 11, and that includes 5 celebs. If that's true, I don't see how all our favourites could be included?

I see Ben and Rachael1 have been back visiting today.

Ash looked great last night didn't she?
My favourite pic is the first one here.
 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvs...sement-premiere.html
Can't think why?

Was another day of sunshine and heavy showers here, but got a bit done in between the showers. Got soaked twice though.

Hope Mollie had a great time.
emptybox
Hi Emptybox.
They said the water was nearly a foot deep, can't see how they could dry the place out so quick.
I don't take notice of rumours they mean nothing really.
I saw Ben for a few minutes, didn't see Rachael.
Ash looked might fine, can't complain about those pictures.

I see they are all back in the rooms now, loads of rows brewing, Ben coming in has started some.
I have loads to do in the garden, did a bit tonight after work, hope it's not raining tomorrow.

Am fed up with the H/L shows at 10pm, they are 24hrs behind anyway, and i've seen most of it.

Mollie should be back tonight or tomorrow, bet she had a great time, hope so anyway.
Hicky
Good morning all
hope you behaved whilst I was away.

Hicky..
sounds like you have stil lbeen busy in your garden. Glad to hear your lad and wife enjoyed the honeymoon. Where did they go to?

Emptybox
sounds like you too have been busy doing your gardens, I bet you have to time it in with the quick showers at the moment.

We had a lovely few days away. Realy good weather, so we managed to get out and about,  visiting lots of places.... We went to Paignton zoo (i loved tha baby giraffe there)...Ocean Zoo on Torquay sea front (lots of penguins)... down some big caves for an interesing tour round them, to the fair where we played hook the duck, and wons some silly prizes.   And we stopped in Weston super mare on the way home to see the sand sculpturing and have a walk down the seafront.  The sand sculptering is so impressive, it must of taken them ages to do it.   The Torbay area is very pretty, and referred to as the English riviera because the Bay resmembers the real Riviera.

Now today, I have to start ploughing through moands of washing, and have to sort the annual accounts out for signing and posting tommorrow. But first I think I will have some chesse and tomatoes on toast.

Big night for BB tommorrow. It is a shame that it looks like Sam is going, he has kept the show going in the final stages.

have a good day both. xx
M
Hi Mollie.

Welcome back, glad you enjoyed your break.
Glad you had good weather, those Zoo's sound great, as do the caves.

My Lad went to Turkey, very very hot, but they loved it.
It's going to be a good night Friday, have no idea who with go or stay really, the betting isn't usually right anyway.

I'm at the Southport show tomorrow, have bought 2 folding arm chairs to take with waterproof coats like they have for hiking/camping, we can carry  them over the shoulder, they are very light.

My decking should arrive Tuesday all well and good, the garden is coming on.

The Turf Cutting machine should arrive Saturday morning, I've hired it for the weekend.
Hicky
Hi Mollie and Hicky.
A nice day here. The grass was dry for once. Far easier to cut.

Glad you had a great time Mollie , Just a pity you had to pile into the washing and paperwork on your return.

I seem to recall you talking about sand sculpturing before? Was that at the same place?

Hope you have a good time at the show tomorrow Hicky.  Those folding chairs should be very useful. My Dad always carried some with him when he went to shows etc. I think they are still in the boot of the car? I've never had a proper look.

Looks like it might be John James, Sam, Steve and Dave for the chop on Friday, but Dave may escape and Corin or Mario might go in his place? Hope not.

The latest rumoured All-Stars list is this.

Brian Dowling
Nikki Grahame
Charley Uchea
Brian Belo
Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace
John McCririck
Vanesssa Feltz
Chantelle Houghton
Preston
Dane Bowers

No idea if it's got any more validity than some of the other lists?
We'll have to tick them off on Tuesday to see if it's right.

Why they want all those celebs is beyond me?
emptybox
Good evening all

Hicky
hope you had a good day at Southport. I bet it was very tiring. Did you make use of your chairs? Can you give me a link to some, they sound dead useful.
Fingers crossed for a bit of dry weather as you are hiring the turf cutting machine. Have you got some help, or can you handle it all on your own? Are you clearing the area ready for the decking with the machine?

Emptybox
looks like it could be an interestimg mix of HM's next week. I bet a lot of them know each other very well now with all the premiers and parites they get invited to?  And I suspect most of them get on well, but they will of been told to not let on that they do, whilst they are in the house?

Glad you got a nice day yesterday so you could get on with your work.
It has been very showery here today.

Yes we went to the sand sculptering last year, it is on every year in WSM.
http://www.westonsandsculpture.co.uk/

My OH has gone out with his friend in Cardiff tonight for his stag do.
No complaints from me though. He came home with a big box of Milk Tray for me and daughter to share whilst we watch BB and Corrie tonight.
I booked a hotel for him, so he doesnt have to drive home after a drink. He doesnt drink much, but if he had to drive, he would of missed out on the wine they are having with their  meal.

Wonder who will go tonight?
Not bothered really about most of them, but I would like Sam to stay.
M
Evening.
Wet here all day.  But sunny now.

I don't think the weather up here is supposed to be very good tomorrow, but not sure for you Hicky? Hope you get on OK with the turf machine. I've never used one myself, but they sound like fun.

Hi Mollie, I don't care who goes, but i really want Corin to stay. Not sure if she will though. Enjoy your Milk Tray.

I've got no confidence in that list, but if those are the ones that go in, then Ash is pals with Dane Bowers and Vanessa Feltz. Well she's really pals with Vanessa's boyfriend (Ben Ofoedu), but she's certainly been an occasional dinner guest chez Feltz.
She also gets on great with Brian Belo, and gets on OK with Nikki and Charley, but has a slightly scratchy relationship with those two girls.
Not sure if she's ever met Chantelle?
emptybox
Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Had a great day really, had a little train but had waterproof coat etc, the seat was great, defo worth taking, of course you can sit it down anywhere, most of the supplied seats are taken most of the time.
Think my seat was ÂĢ10 & O/H's was ÂĢ15, it is standard camping gear but I'll find a link so you can see.

My Lad is coming round to help with the machine and he'll have brekkie as well.
I want to clear 4 area's if pos, 2 area's for decking, 2 others for Moonstone Flint, a Tonne should do 2 area's.
Don't know what to do with the Turf that I take up, about 35sq mtrs of it.
It's very heavy so couldn't get it to the recycle area which is 5 miles away.

I saw that Sand Sculpture Mollie, how on earth do they do that?

That big box of chocolates sounds a good idea, and not many sharing it.

It will be interesting who goes tonight, not too bothered, it could be anyone, but John-J seems to have blown all hope of staying in now after that awful session with Rachael.

It will be a good week next week with the ex's going back in, looking forward to that.
Not really bothered who wins this anymore, when it's up the public anything can happen.

Link to a similar seat, this is from Halfords and is only ÂĢ7.99, was ÂĢ10.
Some places like Camping stores have a lot of choice, but worth having when you go anywhere.
They easy fit in the car, they come in a bag anyway, and are light to carry usually with a strap to go over your shoulder.

Aw! Corin is out.
All the John James and Sam fans put paid to her chances.

If she'd stayed, I think she would have challenged Josie for the winner, but I think Josie has got it in the bag now.

TBH I probably want Josie to win now anyway. Don't think Mario, JJ or Andrew are interesting enough.
Dave is her only challenger for me.

Hi Emptybox.
That was a shock to me losing Corin, never expected Sam to be out either.
I think Josie deserves it above the others left now.
Dave should have been out a long time ago.
Hicky
Good afternoon all
well the weather is really, really wet here today. I so hope it is better for you Hicky as you are going to be busy with your turf.
Thanks for the link to the chair, very handy for visiting busy places.
Did you buy anything from the show? Was it very busy there?

Me and daughter only ate one layer of the chocs, so we have the 2nd layer for the start of x Factor tonight. Can't wait to see that. At least it makes up for us being left with a house full of dullards on BB now.
Why on earth has the likes of entertaining Sam and Corin gone, only for us to be left with JJ and Dave?

I am not bothered who wins now, as long as it is not Dave. Perhaps it has been all his cult church voting to keep him in?

OH enjoyed the stag night, ended up clubbing till 3am.
I have told him he has to take me and daughter out to carvery now to make up for his night out.   Good value for early bird. Only ÂĢ5.25 each for help yourself.
OH and I went to see friends daughter off at station today, she is going to work in Egypt for 2 years with her hubbie and little boy. They provide them with free 3 bed accommodation, so her mum will be going over to visit her soon.

Emptybox
well if you have had our weather today, you wont be able to do your gardens. Hope you arent too behind. Our grass is growing like mad , but is too wet to cut it now.
Is it sphag bol for you today?

have a good evening both. xx
M
Hope you are having a good day.
we just got back from carvary, very nice it was. I had a lovely brie and mushroom pastry and lots of help yourself veg.

Have you seen this new app for phones? My OH has just downloaded it, and we had such a laugh with it.  It repeats all you say...  and reacts to you stroking it, or thumping it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...&feature=related

Nearly time for X factor.

Hope Hicky has managed to make good use of his turf thing, without getting too sodden today.
M
Hi Mollie.

That talking cat thing looks funny.

It's actually been a nice day here, so I got caught up with some work.
I thought they were forecasting storms and gale force winds, but perhaps they went further south? Couldn't complain here anyway.

Glad you enjoyed your carvery meal. You obviously found a veggie option this time, so you didn't have to scrape your meat off.

I'm going for a bath in a bit, then I'll have my Spag Bol watching Big Brother.

Hope you had fine weather Hicky, so you didn't hire the turf  cutter in vain.
If you had room you could stack the turf upside down in a pile, so all the grassy bits were covered,  and leave it for a year or so, and you'd have a pile of good earth for your beds. Don't suppose you've got the room though?
emptybox
Evening Emptybox & mollie.

Had no rain here, Turf cutter arrived at 8.45, it's so easy to use, cuts a 300mm wide Turf which you just roll up.
Got an awful lot done today, of course my lad did it really.
The only thing I got from the show was a new green peaked cap which says, I'd rather be in the garden, than here.

You can get good money working abroad, one of the women's daughter on twitter is a singer and is working in Corfu and only does 2 x 2hr shows a week and gets a car, a flat and a weeks wages and everything is free.

Loved X-Factor tonight, could be some good singers this year.

If I can't give the rolls of Turf away I will get a skip and dump them, I don't have room to store 40 sq mtrs of Turf, all my plants now will be in tubs using various composts and John Innis No 3 for drainage.

I noticed that pic of Ash's cat, not into pets myself.

Oh, meant to say Channel 5 will be running #BB from next June, been confirmed, Yippee, only for a 10week stint though to see how it goes.

Good morning all

Emptybox
hope you enjoyed your sphag bol.
thanks for the piccy of the nice cat. It looks like it could be a long haired one. I saw a similiar one in the pet shop being washed and brushed the other day.
Glad you got a dry day yesterday, so you could keep up work wise. It rained all day here. Seems nice today though.

Hicky
especially glad you didn't get our weather yesterday, as you had hired that turf cutter. Sounds like you got a lot done with it.   Are you making use of the turf cutter again today?

Thanks for the good BB news and channel 5. After all these years, I would really miss BB if it completely vanished. I am not sure if they will take Davina with them though. Being a different channel, they might want to change it quite a lot.

I at your cap sloganp. I bet you feel like wearing that slogan on a day at work.

Do you both think it is a foregone conclusion that Josie will win now?
Not long to wait now till we see who will be going in on Tuesday.

we are going to take the dog a walk in a munite whilst it is dry.

have a good day. xx
M
Evening.
It's been a lovely sunny day here, but a bit cooler this evening.

Been out to do my weekly shop, but not done much else.

Ash's cat has quite long hair Mollie. She's also a wee bit well fed, from any pics I've seen.  Not sure how old she is, but Ash had her from before she went on BB.

I think Josie will win, but it's possible Mario might get a lot of votes? Personally i think he's a bit dull. Dave will probably be third?
That'd do me.

I also think it's a possibility that Josie would refuse to go back in for the Ultimate series, because she wouldn't see John for such a long time?
Not sure what they would do then? Offer it to the second placed one probably?
emptybox
Good Evening Mollie & Emptybox.

Another busy day, not used the Turf cutter again, but had 2 dry days, hosepipe ban lifted.
Went to get some more Weed Control Matting, needed a bit more.
Got 4 more small 25kg bags of blue slate.
Have ordered a bulk bag of Moonstone fling 20mm.
It's probably a 900kg or a 1 tonne bag, not sure which.

Can only hope that Channel 5 do take over the BB program, that's what I was told, but nothing is ever confirmed.

That negative voting thing was a total washout, we should never have had this 5 in the final, that's what happens with negative voting.
We don't have the best 5 HM's in the final now.
Hicky
Evening all.

Been wet here all day.

Just as well though, as it's been very busy on the Aisleyne front.

She's put out a press release saying that she's turned down Ultimate Big Brother in favour of a role in a new urban comedy film 'Anuvahood'.

She says she was offered UBB, and was very keen to do it, but discovered that filming for the movie would clash with her being in the house, so she had to reluctantly turn UBB down.

I'm obviously very disappointed that we won't be seeing her in UBB , but I know a comedy role is something she's been interested in for a while.

I'll just have to give all my support to Chantelle and Michelle, if they are there.

It's knocked a bit of the shine off it for me now.

Although I'm sure Ash knows what's best for her.
emptybox
Good evening all

Hicky
glad you got a couple of nice days to use your turf cutter.
Sounds like even though you still have a fair bit more to do, at least that wonderful landscaped garden isn't too far away for you now.
Cant believe they have only just finished a hose pipe ban there... we have had loads of rain recently, and the rivers are really full.
yes that last vote to evict was absolutely ridiclous.  It has certainly made sure we are left with a house full of dullards. Not interested in it at all now till the oldies go in on Tuesday.

Emptybox
Aaawww, sorry you are disappointed about one of your faves not going in.
Sounds like Ais was never one of the ones who intended going in anyway, because she would of known ages ago she was booked,  if she is involved with a film. Was it a newspaper that  lead you to beleive she was going in?  Or were you just hoping she was? I dont think C4 have actually published an official list of who is going in have they? So maybe they want to surprise us?
I hope there is someone else going in who you will enjoy watching though.
And think of it like this, you might not be seeing your fave in the house, but you will get to see her in a film.
I am not really bothered who goes in as long as they are entertaining and funny. Because since Friday, the BB house has just been unwatchably boring imo.
Maybe if some of our old faves go in Tuesday in, we might not like them anymore? Or maybe we will find ourselves liking someone we didnt like before?
A long time has passed since we first met some of the old HM's, so it should be interesting to see if they have changed.
No, I really cant see Josie refusing to go back into the house on Tuesday. She has had time to get used to the idea, and must be expecting to be staying on in the house, as everyone keeps telling her she is likely to win. I think it will be very hard for her though, because all the other HM's from the past will be now be confident with the media, and have not been locked in the house for nearly 3 months like her, so she may feel inferior to them. But I think she will cope ok, hope so.

had a busy wash day, and caught up with paperwork.

hope you have had a good day. xx
M
Hi Mollie.
Glad you got your washing and paperwork done. cool:

I've been saying all along that I was doubtful that Ash was going in, but that wasn't based on any inside knowledge, just on reading between the lines.
But in actual fact, seemingly negotiations were going on up until last Thursday to try to get Aisleyne involved, and many sources, including at least 3 ex-HMs were  saying that she was definitely going in, so she must have been asked at least.

She's known about the movie role for a while, but didn't realise that she'd be needed for filming at exactly the same time as UBB, so she definitely intended to do it until she found out about the clash of timings.
That's the official line anyway, and I've no reason to doubt it.

I'll certainly watch the movie when it comes out, but it doesn't sound much like my kind of thing really.

TBH I'll probably enjoy the series more, because if Ash was there I'd be worried about her all the time, and probably watch far too much live feed checking if she was OK. And probably spend too much money voting in her favour.
I'd still like it if Chantelle or Michelle were there, but I probably wouldn't lose any sleep over them?

I've just put in 1 vote for Josie to win, and that's the only vote I'll make.
If Corin was still there I might have put in 10 votes.
emptybox
I see that you've been busy with your gardens.  Emptybox is getting over the news about Ash not goin in UBB.  I never posted anything Ash goin in UBB because I never wanted to spoil her chances of getting in.  After reading the news, I have to admit to being relieved/delighted that she isn't going into what could be a really cheesy BB finale, but that's just my opinion.   Great news about the film role.  She's done one in the past. She was also unlucky to have a scene in which she appeared deleted from a second film.
B
Good morning all

Emptybox
I dont think you would of needed to worry about Ash if she was in the house. I think with her being such a tough ghetto queen, she would of been one of the toughest characters in there, and could of easily sorted anyone out in that house. I would think, because Chantelle, seems to have a gentler nature, that she might find it tough though, if she is going in. She was very nervy and quiet with those around her, when I met her. And  I think it may be hard for Josie to cope too, with all the media savy ones going in tonight, because many of them will know each other well, but they will all be strangers to Josie.  Josie has her faults, but out of the 5, I think you are right in throwing your vote her way.

Work day. or rain day for you today?
sun has just come out here, so think I will peg some washing out.

Hicky
how is that garden coming along?  I bet you are looking forward to getting that decking all done.

Not long to wait now till we get to see who is acutally going into the house. Let's hope we get some interesting people.

of course, we remember you.
I hope you are keeping well, and enjoying the summer.
We have certainly had a good share of fine weather this year, so cant complain.
M
Good Morning Boldjohn, Mollie & Emptybox.

Wondered where you were Boldjohn, hope you pop in more often.

A very windy day here.
Have got the Busy Bee feller here Valeting the cars this morning.
Hoping the decking is coming today as well.
Hope the rain stays off as well

Hope Josie wins out of what's left, looking forward to seeing the ex's going back in.

A pity Ash isn't going in, think Chantelle is though.

Can't wait for tonight.
Hicky
Hicky
sounds like a busy day for you today, I bet you will be glad to get a sit down and enjoy BB tonight.
Looks like all of us agree that Josie is our choice of winner then. She has easily been the most entertaining of the 5 left, I think.
Hope it is dry for you today.
Started off wet here, but cleared up nicely now, and all my washing is drying well in the wind and sun.

Here is a nice article I thought you all might like.
I am now so looking forward to seeing Chantelle again, I am sure you will agree how pretty she looks in that lovely dress, and good to see she still has that nice smile on her face.
Her mum looks very glamours too. And I think the article may meet Emptybox's approval because it has a piccy of Ash in.

Evening.
Getting all set for a night with Big Brother.
I missed BBLB, but will watch it at 7pm on +1.

It's been showery again today, but I got a bit of work done.

Thanks for the link Mollie.
Chantelle looks lovely, doesn't she? And I think she's dyed her hair specially, so she looks similar to the last time she was in? Although it looks much more classy nowadays.
The rumour is that Preston is going in as well.
While that will be interesting to see how they are with each other, I think it might hamper her chances of winning?

Even although the cast isn't exactly what I hoped for, I'm still looking forward to the show.

Hope your decking arrived OK Hicky?
emptybox
Emptybox
glad to hear you are now looking forward to the show.
I think there should be someone in there for us all to enjoy watching.
It is a shame if Preston goes in though, I'd prefer to see Chantelle mixing with the others, without her ex in there.
As I have said before, I think it is a most fitting end to the channel 4 BB for us, because with Chantelle going  in, that is where we started posting together, cant believe it is over 4 years ago now.

Hicky
as Emptybox said, I hope the decking arrived ok, and you will be able to get it all sorted quickly.

time to get ready for BB viewing.
enjoy the show all.
looking forward to hearing your opinions.
I am guessing one of the girls will be your favourites.
