Louis Walsh, "I warned Brian not to marry Kerry'
Posted by heatworld on Wednesday 16 Sep 2009

Louis Walsh has revealed in a new interview that he told Brian McFadden not to marry Kerry Katona, but that the former Westlife singer ignored him. Talking to the Evening Herald, Louis explained, "When Brian and Kerry announced that they were getting married I told him not to do it, but he did. They were far too young to have ever gotten married, we could all see that but there was no telling him." Kerry and Brian, as we all know all too well, split after three years together, and their relationship is now so bad that they no longer speak to one another in person. Louis went on to say, "I had great time for Kerry, they just should have never married and didn't match well together. Brian is a loose cannon and always has been, he will do what he wants at the end of the day." However, Louis has nothing but praise for Brian's new lady Delta, saying the Irish crooner is "very lucky" to have her in his life. If only Kerry could've gone on to meet a man just as nice. Sadly, we don't think there’s anything lucky about having Mark Croft in your life.

Reality TV stars should be paid minimum wages, unions demand
By KIRSTY WALKER
Last updated at 7:35 PM on 16th September 2009

Stars of reality TV shows such as Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor should be paid the minimum wage, union bosses demanded today.

They accused programme makers of 'exploiting and humiliating' vulnerable people by misleading them into thinking they can succeed in the entertainment industry.

Jean Rodgers, vice president of the actors' union Equity said reality shows were the 'modern equivalent of a Victorian freak-show'.

'Exploited': X Factor's Olly Murs and BGT's Susan Boyle 'should be paid to sing'
The Government is currently reviewing the protection of children on TV shows after 10-year-old Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Hollie Steel broke down in tears.

A poll by the Guardian found that 67 per cent of the British public thought Susan Boyle, another contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, had been exploited after she suffered a breakdown.

Meanwhile, TV boss Simon Cowell has built up an estimated personal fortune of more than Β£100million after creating programmes such as the X Factor, American Idol and Britain's Got Talent.

Miss Rodgers told delegates: β€˜Susan Boyle was catapulted into fame by Britain's Got Talent, which is the modern equivalent of the Victorian freak show.

Simon Cowell: Rich from reality TV
β€˜The truth is that Susan Boyle is a vulnerable and exploited middle aged woman. Her fairy tale did come true, but at a high physical and mental cost.

β€˜This is not an excuse to get at Simon Cowell or anyone else who survived their apprenticeships and deserve their success. It is about fairness.’

She added that TV company Endemol makes Β£60million a year from reality shows such as Big Brother, while The X Factor will this year spend Β£6million on venues, judges, sets and musicians.
Miss Rogers said: β€˜Everyone gets paid - everyone except the performers. The performers are workers in a highly competitive and exploitative industry where there hopes and dreams are manipulated.’

She added: β€˜Britain HAS got talent...so let's pay them.’

Activists overwhelmingly backed a motion to the TUC congress which condemned TV companies for using 'loopholes' which stop contestants getting paid.

Union bosses said that TV reality competitions are not covered under the National Minimum Act, which would require programme bosses to pay adult contestants Β£5.73 per hour and children Β£3.35 per hour.

Jean Rodgers: Equity union deputy
There is also concern among the unions that talent shows featuring amateurs are driving professionals off prime-time TV.

Danny Longstaff, from the Musicians Union, added: β€˜We all start out as wannabes and we learn our craft through hard work, practice and study. If we are very lucky, we achieve professional status.

β€˜For 99.9 per cent of us, there is no short cut. But TV companies are offering a fairy tale and are not nurturing talent. They are just making money.’

The motion said: β€˜The contestants in such programmes are often compelled to enter into restrictive contracts and because of a loophole in the National Minimum Wage Act for competitions they generally do not get paid.

β€˜Talent search programmes give young people the misleading idea that it is easy to get into and succeed in the entertainment industry.

β€˜These programmes may be very popular with the public but are based on exploitation and humiliation of vulnerable people which cannot be acceptable.

β€˜The public’s demand for high quality entertainment should be met by professional drama and light entertainment which has been replaced by this cheap exploitation.’

But a spokesman for TV company Talkback Thames, which produces Britain's Got Talent and the X Factor, said: β€˜Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor are talent competitions.

β€˜They are not employment in their own right and therefore Equity rates do not apply. Contestants chose to enter to compete for a substantial prize – a cash prize of Β£100k and a performance on the Royal Variety Show for Britain’s Got Talent and a recording contract worth Β£1m on The X Factor.

β€˜The shows also give ordinary people an opportunity to showcase their talents and potentially transform their lives.’

I’m a Celebrity star David Gest on his friendship with Michael Jackson and why he loves Southport
Sep 16 2009 by Amy Salter, Midweek Visiter

BRACE YOURSELF Southport – the showbiz whirlwind that is David Gest is on his way.

And the β€˜I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here star’, who was best pals with Michael Jackson and had a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it marriage to Liza Minnelli, can’t wait to come back.

β€œI’ve been coming to Southport for a long time because I love it,” he says.

β€œI love the high street with all the great shops and the people are so friendly and warm.”

The 56-year-old is bringing his show David Gest – My Life! to Southport Theatre next month and has promised it will be just as crazy and entertaining as he is.

β€œI sing and dance and tell my life story to the music,” he says.

And what a life story it is. David might have begun his professional life behind the lens, but he was chalking up celebrity phone numbers from a young age – including that of the most famous family in showbiz.

β€œWhen my family moved to Encino (California) the Jacksons moved in shortly after and I was dating LaToya for a while,” he says.

β€œI was only 16 so it was puppy love. One day Michael said to me let’s go to a show where they sell celebrity memorabilia and 500,000 items later I was hooked. We did that together for about 12 years.

β€œHe was my best friend and in the show we sing Human Nature and play a film of Michael speaking in his real manly voice - not the one you were used to hearing.

β€œI miss Michael terribly, he was a very special person and I speak to his mother every two weeks.

β€œI tell her stories about our times together and try to put a smile on her face. After all, she helped raise me too.”

David’s Los Angeles life helped him kick-start a career as a producer that would see him work with some of the greatest stars Hollywood has seen. But he insists he was never interested in sharing the limelight.

β€œI didn’t want to be a celebrity,” he says.
β€œI always stayed behind the camera, even when I was producing Clint Eastwood and Frank Sinatra specials, I never wanted to be in front of it.”
But a multi-million pound wedding to actress Liza Minnelli in 2002 and a stint in the jungle in 2006 catapulted him into the showbiz stratosphere.

β€œβ€˜I’m a Celebrity’ was a turning point for me but I never expected to become a star,” he says.
β€œI love it now though. The people love me and I love the people. When I last went to Southport people started coming up and saying hi and it’s like that everywhere I go.

β€œEach day I pose for 400 pictures when I go out, I’m approachable and people love me. I don’t really do producing now, I love being in front of the camera because you get to be crazy.”
David Gest – My Life! is at Southport Theatre on Tuesday, October 6 at 7.30pm.

Torres: 'I want to do Come Dine With Me'
Wednesday, September 16 2009, 16:58 BST
By Alex Fletcher, Senior Entertainment Reporter

Liverpool and Spain striker Fernando Torres has revealed that he would love to appear on Channel 4 cookery show Come Dine With Me.

The footballer also suggested that the producers involve his teammates Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher to make it a Liverpool FC special.

Speaking about the prospect of appearing on reality TV, he told The Sun: "One thing you could convince me to do is perhaps one of the cooking shows. I could do a celebrity Masterchef or a celebrity Come Dine With Me.

"I would only do it if my teammates Jamie Carragher and Stevie Gerrard were to do it with me, though."

He added: "On Come Dine With Me, I would probably do traditional Spanish food with lots of little tapas dishes. As for Stevie and Carra, they would probably do fish and chips. I am confident I would win, but I am sure Carra would tell you otherwise."

Earlier this summer, it was revealed that Torres, Gerrard and Carragher were organising a Masterchef-style cook-off in Liverpool. Hell's Kitchen star Marco Pierre White was rumoured to have been lined up to host the event.

I'd watch that show if the Liverpool players where in it.

Gordon Ramsay's charity sauces

Gordon Ramsay has created a range of cooking sauces
Published Date: 17 September 2009

Gordon Ramsay has teamed up with Comic Relief to cook up a new range of sauces and provide a steady source of funds for the charity.
Developed in Ramsay's kitchens over three years by his team and overseen by the celebrity chef himself, the Seriously Good sauces were inspired by Mediterranean flavours.

Proceeds will go to Comic Relief and Ramsay has said he will not take a penny.

The range consists of five different sauces - Bolognese and Red Wine, Spicy Red Pepper and Spianata Sausage, Tomato, Black Olive and Mixed Herb, Cherry Tomato and Balsamic, and Wild Mushrooms and Mascarpone - intended to be served with meat, fish, vegetables or pasta.

With at least 10p from the sale of every 350g jar going to Comic Relief, the money raised will be used to transform the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the UK and around the world.

Ramsay said: "I've seen first hand the difference money raised through Comic Relief can make, which inspired me to get involved.

"We've created a range inspired by the Mediterranean using only top quality ingredients.

"As you know, I don't do anything by halves but don't take my word for it - just put one into your trolley and you'll be helping Comic Relief."

The Seriously Good sauce range is available in supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and the Co-operative, with a recommended retail price of Β£1.89.

Simon Cowell and Leona Lewis Dish on New Music

(Image Only, No Link, see bottom of post for link)

"American Idol"'s Simon Cowell invites ET into his home for a revealing interview with "Bleeding Love" singer Leona Lewis!

Simon helped discover Leona on Britain's "X Factor" and co-produced her upcoming album Echo, in stores November 17. He tells us the album -- featuring the brand new single "Happy" -- will be something of a departure in sound from Leona's famous version of "Bleeding Love."

"Everyone says, 'Well, that was a hit song, I want something that sounds like that.' So you've got to move away from that and make something that sounds distinct to you."

The singer herself says of Echo: "I think now I've stepped up a bit, evolved the sounds."

Leona performed Wednesday night on the finale of "America's Got Talent," and you can also catch her on the "VH1 Divas" concert, airing Thursday at 9 p.m. on VH1.

Michael Jackson's Dermatologist Issues Demand to UK Paper

In a letter obtained by ET, lawyers for Michael Jackson's former dermatologist Dr. Arnie Klein issue a demand to the U.K. newspaper The Sun, following Klein's lawsuit against L.A. plastic surgeon Steven Hoefflin.

In the letter, Klein's attorneys challenge the paper to produce "all 'factual evidence' supporting Dr. Hoefflin's claim that The Sun is in possession of phone records, recordings and documents purportedly showing that Conrad Murray 'definitely called Klein' on the day of Michael Jackson's death."

Earlier Wednesday, Klein's attorney Richard L. Charnley told ET that Klein and Murray have never met, nor have they spoken with each other.

X Factor: have a look at sexy Simone!
September 17th, 2009 by Lisa McGarry.

Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole go gaga over sexy Simone on this week’s X Factor show.

In what will thankfully be the last of this years audition coverage, the girls are impressed by the rippled torso of Simone the celebrity hairdresser and even more stunned when he belts out β€˜She Bangs’ by Ricky Martin.

Simon and Louis also get their chance to ogle, as one time strippers, Kandy Rain take to the stage.

Leona Lewis buys Β£1.5 million house
In LA of course...

September 17, 2009

Leona Lewis has finally given in and bought a pad of her own in LA. The X Factor winner has splashed out a massive Β£1.5 million on her new home in California, which comes complete a swimming pool and gym. She's been spending lots of time in LA while recording her new album, Echo, and has decided that buying her own place rather than renting makes sense. She told The Sun, β€˜When I first got to LA I didn’t know what to make of it. But after a while I found myself enjoying it. But home is where the heart is and at the moment my heart is in the UK.’

We can't wait for Echo to be released in November - we're already big fans of the single Happy.

Well, it looks like we are finaly going over to LiveCloud tonight at 11pm, hope we can all meet up again over there.

It may be that the threads are moving as well, so we might be able to see where we are a bit easier.

The sites will be down for some hours after so probably wont be able to get in till the morning.

And the Sigs don't show in the post at the Mo, only in the OP's.

Ah, well, not much we can do, have to move with the times.

Love this Forum/Thread as well, never mind all good things come to an end, a bit like BB I suppose.

aaww that is a shame if they are closing here, I will follow you to livecloud, and hope they transfer the thread as a whole. It is good here to chat and read all those news items you kindly find us. Hug
Did you hear back from the doc about your ECG?

Tatty Hug
hope you feel a bit better today, and can pop in here.

Kingkev...glad to hear the relationship is going well, both with your gf, and her little ones. Can't of been easy for your gf when the fella left her alone with the littlies. Don't blame you not bothering with the tv license, the programmes are not so good at all now.

Reading those news articles I must admit, it does irritate me how all of Simon Cowells new made "stars", disappear and dash off to the states, as soon as the UK public have made them those "stars". Seems they suddenly think they are too good for the UK, despite the fact it is the UK public who are the ones who spent money voting for them in the first place. Leona and Alex both diappeared from the UK as soon as they won. And Susan Boyle even rushed off over to the States before the final, and has gone back there now. Yet she did not even perform for the British fans on the tour dates.
Maybe there is more money to be made for Simon Cowell if he moves them straight over there? Roll Eyes Very unfair on the UK voters though.

Just had the results of my ECG, normal, so made an appointment to see the Doc again to see what I can do about the water on my Ankle, they might give me a Tap on the knee.
Only joking of course.

The Doc had suggested I keep my feet up high, think he was joking, I said it's too dificult to drive with my feet on the dashboard.

Hi Mollie.wavey

Didn't see your post before I posted.

The ECG was fine, will have to go to plan 'B', if I had one.Big Grin

We'll tie up over on the Cloud somehow, it shouldn't be that hard, might take a few days searching if they don't move the threads as a whole though.

Leona etc have to go to the states to make any money, there's none over here, that's why everyone heads that way, some make it some don't.

If your good enough and humble enough I think you can do well.

When they vote for a person on Americon Idol they have over 40 million voting, so when they are buying Music you can imagine the amount you can sell.

I don't blame them going, we just treat people like Sh*T over here.
They don't do that over there.

X-Factor bosses β€˜stitched me up’
17 September 2009

DANCING AMBITIONS: Gurdip Dhillon.

AN X-FACTOR contestant who danced on stage when he appeared on the prime time television programme says he was 'stitched up' by the show's producers.

Gurdip Dhillon, 50, of Bronte View, Gravesend, performed a version of Don't Cha, by the Pussycat Dolls, in front of the four celebrity judges.

POP GURU: Simon Cowell.

But the married dad-of-two said that producers of the ITV1 show refused two of his song choices and gave him the number one hit by the Pussycat Dolls as his second choice.

Mr Dhillon, whose first choice was Donny Osmond's Twelfth of Never, claims they told him that if he danced on stage, in front of the audience of more than 2,000 people at the ExCel Centre in London, that he would be more likely to go through to the next round of the competition.

The police administration worker, who appeared in episode three of the show, and will also feature on the Xtra Factor, the ITV2 spin off show this Saturday , said: "I got through about two lines of my song, and Simon just said: "Boring." So I had to sing my second song, which was the Pussycat Dolls.

"Before I went on stage, the producers had given me a CD of the Pussycat Dolls. They didn't want me to sing my other choices I had prepared.

"I had only had 10 minutes of listening to it, and I didn't want to sing it. But they told me that if I danced to the song on stage, the judges were more likely to put me through, so that's what I did. I got stitched up."

Mr Dhillon, who practices singing in the bath and on the way to work at the police office in Sidcup, said he had taken three days of holiday from work to attend the early audition stages.

He was auditioned three times, once at the O2, then at the Emirates stadium and finally at the ExCel Centre, where he performed in front of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole.

His performance saw him get through just a few lines of the song, put his microphone down and perform dance move including one he has named the 'Deep Wave' before he was asked to stop.

Simon was heard saying: "What the hell was that?" and Louis Walsh said: "No, no, no, never."

Mr Dhillon's daughter Karina, 22, came to watch him perform at the audition which was held in June.

He added: "The judges all just said no. It's a singing competition they said, which is fair enough I suppose.

"But I was really annoyed. I was fuming when I came off that stage. Why did they let others sing their song choices, and not me? Then I had to leave, it was over."

Since his appearance on the show, he has been approached by people in Gravesend town centre, and his performance on YouTube has received more than 1,000 views.

He said: "It's unreal, people are recognising me in the street, even though I was on there for a minute or so.

"I will definitely go back next year, so then I might get my chance to sing again."

At the time of going to press, a spokesperson for the X-Factor was unavailable for comment.

Kirsty's got the X Factor
Kathryn Ryan
September 17, 2009

A WANNABE pop star beat thousands of hopefuls to make it to the final 25 girls in X Factor.

Kirsty Bancroft sang her way into the second half of boot camp, the final 100 contestants, and final 25 in her category in the ITV1 show.

She received unanimous yeses from all four celebrity judges throughout the series but failed to make it into the next round of judges homes - the penultimate round before the live shows.

The boot camp episodes are due to be shown this weekend.

Kirsty, of Liverpool Road, Eccles, said: "It was quite an achievement but the whole time was just an amazing experience because you’re in the same environment with other people who are trying to get where you are.

"I'm watching the show every weekend and seeing people who I got really friendly with.

"On Saturday they showed a clip of my family so I think I will be on this weekend.

"I told the crew to turn up Simon Cowell's microphone because I couldn't hear what he was saying.

"Cheryl Cole and Danni Minogue said they were surprised I've got a big voice because I'm a small girl."

Kirsty, started singing aged five when she took to the stage at a club in Ashton-under-Lyne after seeing her dad Jim, also a singer, perform.

Since then she has dreamed of becoming a pop star like her idols Beyonce and Christina Aguilera.

She is determined to compete in the show next year and is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Alexandra Burke who took part in 2005 but didn’t make it to the live shows before going on to win the last series and the prize of a Β£1m recording contract.

But for now Kirsty will continue to perform in pubs and clubs as a solo artist and with her family mum Tracey, 47, dad Jim, 56, and occasionally sister Katherine, 12.

The Pendleton College pupil, added: "I will never give up, I will definitely go back for it next year.

"I had the time of my life when I was there.

"One of the reasons I went in for it this year was because it was in front of a big audience and I like that.

"I was nervous when I was in the wings and the cameras were on me but on stage I'm in the zone and I feel like a pop star already."

OMG! Coleen Nolan: I starred in sex tape
TV host discusses video in front of sons
Thursday, 17 September 2009

Coleen Nolan admits she once recorded a saucy home movie.

Coleen Nolan was married to former EastEnders actor Shane Richie

The Dancing On Ice star made the admission on Loose Women yesterday.

β€˜I was stone-cold sober,’ said Coleen, 44. β€˜It was only two minutes long but in that two minutes I did everything.

'I made loads of noises. I watched it back later and thought it was hideous.’

Coleen’s boys Jake, 16, and Shane, 21, were in the studio audience and looked visibly embarrassed.

β€˜I’d forgotten my sons were going to be there,’ she told the Daily Mirror. β€˜I said to Kate Thornton beforehand that she’ll get to meet my sons later.

β€˜She said, β€œHave you forgotten we’ll be talking about sex tapes today?” That was when the penny dropped.

'I quickly warned the boys I’d be bringing it up but they are broadminded and have heard that story before.’

Jamie Oliver's Orgasm Worry
Today 13:00

Jamie Oliver is worried he won't be able to "rattle out orgasms" in the US.

The Naked Chef - as the British cook is known - said he is nervous about making his first prime-time show for American audiences explosive enough to appeal to them.

He said: "You look at shows like 'Extreme Makeover USA' and 'Supernanny USA' and tone-wise it's like a bunch of orgasms.

"You've got to rattle out orgasms with some super-good moves but I don't know how to do it yet."

In the as-yet-untitled series Jamie and 'Americal Idol' host Ryan Seacrest will visit some of the unhealthiest cities in the US and encourage them to change their eating habits.

I'm not exactly losing sleep but I think about it every single day

Essex born Jamie, 34, has previously led crusades to get children eating healthier in British schools - even meeting with then Prime Minister Tony Blair to campaign for the improvement of school dinners - and started a project in British town Rotherham to improve the health and cooking skills of its residents.

Jamie said he thinks his US project will be his toughest challenge yet, however.

He added: "Maybe it'll be easier than I think but at the moment I think it'll be the hardest thing ever.

"I'm not exactly losing sleep but I think about it every single day. I don't know how to play it because what we did in England won't work here on primetime ABC."

Gordon Ramsay loses temper after being asked if he still cooks

Gordon Ramsay reached boiling point on the BBC Breakfast show after Bill Turnbull asked if the foul-mouthed chef actually still cooked.

Published: 10:00AM BST 17 Sep 2009

Ramsay was on the show promoting his new Red Nose Day sauces when Bill asked him if it was still possible to get cooked by the chef himself.

The angry TV chef fumed that one would not expect clothes designers to stitch every garment.

He said: "When you go and spend Β£500 on an Armani suit and you are happy with it, you don't ask the lady at the desk whether it was Georgio himself who stitched it.

"I know the confidence I have in my team, in fact we have been together for over 10 years - how can you propel talent if you don't expose them."

The celebrity chef became further enraged when Turnbull stated that one could not actually buy a meal cooked by Ramsay himself anymore.

Ramsay exploded ranting the BBC Breakfast presenter was sad and should get a life.

He said: "You sound sad. I am 42 years of age. I have been at the stove for 21 years, I want a life outside my kitchen, sorry.

"Would you like me to polish your shoes Bill, come on, get a life."

Boyle's "Brilliant" American Debut
"Britain's Got Talent" Judge Amanda Holden Says Susan Boyle's First U.S. Performance Was Her Best Yet

Singin' Susan Boyle

Though she came in second place on "Britain's Got Talent," the singer has become a worldwide sensation
(CBS) On Wednesday night, Scottish singer Susan Boyle made her primetime U.S. television debut on the season finale of the NBC show, "America's Got Talent." She sang the Rolling Stones ballad, "Wild Horses."

Amanda Holden, one of the judges on "Britain's Got Talent", who has followed Boyle since she first appeared on that show and surprised everyone with her voice, called her U.S. TV debut "brilliant" on "The Early Show" Thursday.

"I thought it was the most self-assured, confident performance I've ever seen her do, and I think that it's really showing now in her personality," Holden said. "... It was beautiful, really beautiful. It blew me away."

"Early Show" co-anchor Julie Chen remarked that she didn't sound like Mick Jagger, the lead singer of the Rolling Stones.

Holden said she sounded better than Jagger. She added that she'd heard the song performed by Boyle two weeks before at fellow judge Simon Cowell's home.

"He put (her) CD on, and we listened and her voice just rang out into the darkness, and it was the most ethereal kind of spiritual moment ever. We all -- I thought even Simon was going to cry. He couldn't believe it."

Holden said Boyle sounds like a cross between Kate Bush and Barbra Streisand.

"Her voice quality is stunning," she said.

But what about Boyle's upgraded look? Has she gotten too glamorous?

Holden said Boyle's found the middle ground. "Last night I thought that's kind of good. That's a great look for her. It's the middle ground. The hair looks lovely, she doesn't have too much makeup on. She's got a very pretty face, and I think the makeup she had on last night kind of just accentuated that in a very subtle kind of way. …She was also kind of regal. I liked how she thanked the orchestra afterwards. She was very centered, very calm."

OUCH! SEE VIDEO Diversity dancer cries after botched move

Perri Kiely is now feeling a lot better

Perri Kiely hurts his head outside No 10

Thursday, 17 September 2009

Diversity star Perri Kiely broke down in tears after he landed on his head during a routine yesterday.

The Britain's Got Talent winners were performing in front of Gordon Brown at Downing Street.

The Prime Minister rushed to the 13-year-old's aid and then escorted the group into Number 10.

β€˜[Perri is] absolutely fine, just a bit shocked,’ a spokesperson tells The Sun.

Diversity beat Susan Boyle, 48, in the Britain's Got Talent final earlier this year.

SEE VIDEO Diversity dance at Downing Street...
(Sorry - Video has been removed by the User, it was You tube, wonder if that's why?)

Devastated: Diversity members console Perri Luc Kiely, 13, after he fell on his face when a backflip went wrong in a display at Downing Street
----------------

Crash: Perri hits the concrete road flat on his face after the backflip, although a spectator's head hides the moment of impact from view
-----------

Time out: After failing with his valiant attempt to carry on, sad Perri is forced to take a seat at the back and wait out the routine
---------------

Finishing in style: Diversity complete their routine with a typical flourish but abject Perri cuts a sad figure at the back with his head hanging

wavey Good evening.
Just back from doing my Asda grocery shop.
How did those 2 bags of new raisin Cadbury choccies sneak into my trolley? Confused I'll just have to eat them now, but I guess that is ok, because raisins are good for you. Big Grin

Hicky... glad the ECG results were ok. Couldn't you treat yourself to a recliner chair to sit in with your feet up whilst watching tv and/or on the lappy? Or maybe a footstall? At least that would raise your ankles a little.

Hicky... thanks for all the news, partic the X Factor stuff. I do enjoy that show, will listen to the Susan Boyle track in a mo, when I can find some headphones..
Poor young Perri taking a fall outside Number 10. He is such a cutie. it must a really hurt taking a bump like that on tarmac. I loved this dance troup when I saw them live. Brilliant choreography.

Darloboy... hope to see you at livecloud too. Wave

KingKev... are you seeing your young lady tonight, or playing a bit of footie?
How is Mike? Haven't seen him for ages, and Suzy has left too.

Hi Mollie.wavey

Can't think how the Choccy got in your basket, someone with a craving for Choccy must have done it.Big Grin

II could always put my feet up at home, it's a bit harder while driving.
Don't use lappy's can't stand them.
Used to use them for my job years ago for programming but you only used keys, never needed a mouse or touchpad.

Wouldn't use one for personal use though.

It must have been a shock to Perri hitting the deck, but outside No.10, he'll never live it down.
They said it was a concrete road. Frowner

wavey Hicky...
yes, that is all you can do, is to try and put your feet as raised as possible when at home.

I use a lappy because our big pc is usually in use by one of the family, and I don't do anything fancy on it anyway.

Is it a work day tommorrow for you?

Hope Emptybox doesn't wonder where we are if we are closed here, by the time he tries to get in here tonight.
