Done some shopping this morning. Not too bad outside Weather forecast to turn wintry this afternoon and there's snow warnings for tomorrow and Thursday.

Got some snow too but winters are deffo milder.

Hope all are well    

Although there's snow in my county, at present that's at a higher level than where I drove this morning.

We had a snow shower overnight then a hard frost. Mr Y has put down rock salt on the slippy paths so we don’t fall over.
El, those videos and pics are stunning.

It’s Masterchef tonight so I won’t be on the forum at 8pm.

I watched BT Outreach earlier. It was like the comic strip. Front wheel van in snow and he attempts to put rear boots on. I kid you not. Knock it into second and kill the wheelspin.

Cold and frosty here, no precipitation forecast. Locally it's been a wet year with 815 mm of rain. That's above average for this part of the country.

I note that the Sky Arts channel is showing "Dinner for One" this evening. It's a short black and white German film made in 1963 about an elderly woman and her butler. It's her 90th birthday and she's having a party for 4 of her friends who have died. So the butler impersonates them by drinking a toast and gets drunker and drunker. The film has become a Christmas staple in Germany and is shown on television every year. The Germans find it hysterically funny. I don't know if it will be shown in German with English subtitles or in English.

As it’s Sewing Bee tonight, I I won’t be on the forum later so I’ll wish everyone a healthy and happier 2021.
