Good morning everyone it's much drier this morning but much colder and the colder temperatures are due to last for a long time.
My grandson came home soaking wet last evening and he said the same thing about the rain being aimed at him. He said it was like someone aiming a hose at his face but when he turned a corner and expected the rain to be on the side it was still full in the face.

Itâs been cold and windy for most of the day. Some sunshine in the afternoon
The road gritter has just gone by so we are in for a chilly one tonight

The gritters have been out here too. In fact, when I went to pick up my prescription in the morning, they were gritting the pavements.
Iâm glad your day has been good. Mr Y and I were prepping everything for tomorrowâs dinner. We think we are all organised.

Cloudy here. The calm before the Storm Bella arrives this evening. Wet and windy night tonight with gusts into the 50s mph.
Moonie, I hope your migraine has gone, very unfortunate to get one yesterday I don;t know if you had flashing Christmas lights on but those can be a cause.

For those of you who watch "Call the Midwife" I think that the next series doesn't start in January as it has in previous series. There's a new 5 part David Attenborough series starting on Sunday 3 January at the 20.00 timeslot. So if it starts once that's over that would be 7th February.
