Oh I have been at work and told,

"Our cleaners are almost OCD about cleanliness. They even scrub the ceilings"

They set the bar impossibly high but managers act as if this is the standard they now expect from everyone.

I have seen this lead to constant criticism of other staff doing a perfectly reasonable job.

Or causing people to exhaust themselves into sickness trying to keep up.

I randomly chose a LINKEDin profile - here you go . . .

"As a project director and market analyst in the mobile web, connected vehicles and insurance telematics markets, I have a solid knowledge of practices, standards, companies and business models within this space."

I wonder why I'm not working in the business sector with this kinda crap being admired.

I'm just watching the opening credits to the James Martin cookery programme called Home Comforts.

In the voiceover Martin says "I like nothing more than cooking wholesome, hearty food that brings people together".

Blah, blah, blah. Another often tripped out sentiment used by many a TV chuff to get us to think they are loving family types and not money grabbing dolts trying to plug their latest book... off the back of the series we are watching!
