Where will it all stop?
Or are they just singling out MPs?

Interesting viewpoint and, again, I completely agree. But (and there's always a "but") are you saying that, after sounding the alarm to raise public awareness, the Telegraph shouldn't be engaging in these protracted name & shame revalations because we're about to run out of MPs?

I think that if The Telegraph were to examine various other sectors then they would run out of everyone.

I'm worried about who will take over from her.
Milliband?? They are all so awful.

And Ed Balls as potential Chancellor....OMG! Eeker

Alan Johnson?....I want him to take over from Brown, ONLY cause we have the SAME name, and it would be "interesting" everytime someone asks me for MY name Big Grin

Well hippy, Johnson can't be any worse.
Or can he......I've said that about so many of them. Frowner

oh I dunno, It would just be "interesting" for ME cause we share the same name Nod

Great news but when is the next cabinet reshuffle? How much will she earn fron now til then?

I`m disgusted that so many mp`s who have reluctantly admitted (ooh it was all a mistake) to diddling the system are staying on until the next election, they`ve decided. What a damn cheek! 200 more grand in their greedy pockets and WE are paying for these users! Mad

Stand up and be counted..complain..complain! Make your voice heard..they CANNOT get away with this! Hanging on to your job after fraud and choosing when you leave? How many get away with that?

SACK THEM NOW!

I keep thinking that when I see Paxman giving a particularly heavy grilling to yet another MP, he's getting his expenses paid by the public too. That said, I'm still glad that the Telegraph carries on. The traditional role of Parliament should have been scrutinised a long time ago.

Hiya cologne Valentine Friday..great..but only cabinet. It still won`t rid us of the cheaters who are draining us with their duckponds, hanging baskets and more importantly double/triple homes and employing family, who don`t actually work for them. I`m fuming. Sausage

We won't know until The Telegraph tells us who they all are.

Some have admiited it and have decided to stay on until the next election. How dare they?

The telegraph have said it`s going to be a long haul to decipher what is what, but they will. They have the fine details. I for one can`t wait. So far some they have exposed have either resigned or are hanging on by a brass neck thread.

No no! You misunderstand. You asked how many fraudsters elsewhere would get away with it. I am hoping that The Telegraph will tell us who they all are. Be it the non tax paying CEO head of a multinational right down to your local builder who is happy to accept cash.
I can't wait.

I know, it's quite maddening. I still maintain that it's about time the paper printed a list of MPs not involved in excessive money mongering. It's no good making the electorate feel that they can't trust anybody, it's bad for democracy, IMHO.

thats because there are a lot more labour mp's than conservative ones.

once they finaly finish going through all the million+ receipts they got then they are going to start looking at all the free holidays fact finding tours they go on to all these sunny destinations.

realy its no bad thing as long as they keep going right up to the day of the general election

Oh sorry I misunderstood too. I suppose all should be exposed, in a perfect world. I`d rather focus on the rich cheating man than the ordinary builder who hasn`t paid vat. I realise that may seem classist ( is that word?) but there are bigger fish to fry. Most of them are living in mansions.

I agree with that. I believe the Telegraph have said they want to but they have a lot of detailed ground to cover yet. If you`re innocent you have nothing to worry about. That can be easily relayed to your constituents now.

Nod I expect a lot of them are having sleepless nights. Take Alistair Darling, going about his business while the whole time he's dreading the next installment. Smiler

Sleepless nights? They don`t know the half of it. Let Alistair and the rest of them twist and turn in their big comfy beds. No matter what, they will NEVER be skint. They would die of fright if they couldn`t afford tea at the Ritz!
