I agree with you both, and the little boy they have playing Elliott is a real cutie.  It's so damp outside I reckon if you were to measure the humidity level it's got to be in the high 90's.  I was just thinking this evening you can't really air the house out in these conditions, I like it on summer days when I can fling all the windows open wide and get a breeze blowing through, I hate it when you can't do that and really replace the air in the house with lovely fresh air.

I hope you had a nice bread roll with some Busy day at work, bramble settled perfectly in her new pen (more space for her ), yoga was good, went grocery shopping after and now cosying up for the evening with pride & prejudice on. I was supposed to meet a friend for lunch tomorrow but it's been postponed as she's unwell, shame too because she's very funny. I hope everyone sleeps well

Good morning everyone, today for a change it's mizzle outside (a mix of mist and drizzle) totally totally miserable.  Everything feels clammy and you start to feel you are never going to feel warm sunshine again

 

I must be the only one that doesn't like the new Go Compare ad, it seems a bit daft.  My favourite ads are still the meerkat ones, "give Sergei back his dignity"

The soups were very tasty, but no bread roll for me. I have been trying to be good and lose some weight. It is coming off, although much slower than I would like. At least it isn't continuing upwards.

Squiggle, I like the word "mizzle" (not the type of weather, just the word). I know the word is used mainly in Devon and Cornwall but it is very descriptive and fits in with the feel of Dartmoor and Exmoor as used in books. Although my mother had no connection with Devon or Cornwall she did use the word.

Good afternoon all hope you're all enjoying the day so far. I had a lovely chat with my Bestie on Skype this morning while the baby & the puppy were sleeping, it's lovely to be able to video chat! El thank you, I've often wondered when pride & prejudice was set, I love the fashions from that era. Yogi, bramble is a very good girl at work, she's a stretchy sleeper rather than a ball sleeper, so I got her a bigger bed (she's outgrown her first bed) Ooooh! Wills & Kate are at Wimbledon! ..pardon me Yes, she's out grown it, and although her bigger bed still easily fits in her crate, I thought it'd be nice if she had a pen at work too so she can come out & have space to stretch out or play. She liked it I hope your weight loss plan goes well yogi, bread & potatoes are high in calories so you are doing the right thing reducing your bread in take

I loved Agassi, so I might switch over to the tennis.

The pen is a good idea, Summer, I'm sure she'll enjoy stretching her wee legs.

Can hardly believe she has outgrown her bed already - they don't stay puppies for long.

Thanks for your encouragement re the weightloss. Youngest son (healthy eater and gym member) insists I would lose more weight if I, "got off your backside and took some exercise".  I know he's right but I'm not telling him that.

 

Thanks EL but it was the whole group that made it so special, her voice was magical but I don't feel it's the same without the rest of the guys.

Wow, she does have furry, little paws, will she need them trimmed eventually? Keira gets hers trimmed when she goes to the groomers, otherwise she'd look like a clydesdale horse.

Yes she'll need hand stripping 2-3 times per year. Some people do clipper their fur but IMO that ruins it, the first coat has to come out completely and it won't do that if it's cut.. 

 

And that pic was taken 10 days ago, at 6.30am. By 8am it was raining and stayed that way most of the day!

This is another clip from the programme I saw last night. It takes me back to when I was somewhat younger and I remember seeing this on Blue Peter back in 1964. A rather hyperactive Freddie Garrity with The Dreamers, And of course that's Christopher Trace, Valerie Singleton and Petra.

Had an afternoon playing tennis with Andy Murray, well thats what it feels like. I am exhausted! 
We had thunder and lightening and lashing rain around 6pm for an hour. easing off now.
Anyone see Emmerdale? I turned over when rain stopped play. Was Debbies house the wrong way round? Arent the stairs at the main door?? 

Yes I am still watching although it's hard to work up much of an interest in any of the HM's.  A very unlikeable bunch, I don't recall one year when I haven't liked anyone.  I really don't like Deana or Becky and reading between the lines from some of the topics on here Conor may be a bit of a bully.  I am still giving Arron a bit of leeway because I had up to now thought he was out for a laugh in there, a bit of harmless fun which is what the BB house is supposed to be about but I don't like the way he reacted to being up for nomination.  But there again who do you choose, Caroline is pure poison and if I don't miss my guess she was a bully at school. Even the 'outcasts' I can't say I really like, they all have a nasty side.  I wish I could see Lauren as the little misunderstood angel that many do on here but to me she is a poisonous spoilt little brat.  What about you?  Do you have a favourite to be shown the old heave-ho?

I'd like Conor to go because I think he is nasty and aggressive and also for the things he said about Deana (not that I particularly like Deana). He's just vile.

I can't stand Caroline and I can understand why her parents didn't want her to go into BB. Who would want the viewers to know what a nasty daughter they have?

I like Adam and Luke A - but not in the way I liked Freddie or Ben - there are no really great characters this year, imo.

I agree with all of you about bb's housemates, I've never ever watched so little of the show before, nor been less interested in tuning in to see how they're getting on I really hope next years choices are better!

I've never known any previous BB to include so many unlikeable HMs in one show.
