My friends I state it clear this may be my biggest hurdle

Now that most of us have had both our jabs is anyone even been trying to go down the aisles at Waitrose?

I'm still reluctant to semi-mingle

Not me ….I’ve only just managed to go into the local shop. I have to conquer the bus first …..and I ain’t doing that until I know we aren’t going to be in a third wave any time soon !

I’ve been in our local supermarket. I went late morning when it was very quiet. Plenty of sanitiser/wipes for the trolley/basket, plenty of hand sanitiser, 2m social distancing marks on the floors, staff and customers all wearing masks and checkout staff behind screens. Felt pretty safe tbh.

Single jabbed here
Never stopped going to the shop...just M&S and Coop though....both well versed in keeping their customers safe

Tend to have deliveries these days....is easier

Doctors in India have urged people not to smear themselves with cow poo in an effort to ward off coronavirus. Medical officials said there is no scientific evidence behind the practice and warned that it risks spreading other diseases. It comes as the health emergency in the country becomes increasingly desperate, with 22.66 million Covid-19 cases and 246,116 deaths reported so far – though experts say the true figures could be some five to 10 times higher...

I’ve been doing my food shopping from one month into the first lockdown and never stopped since…..have been into other shops since this lockdown ended….always found it easy to shop and stick to the rules….only thing I haven’t used is public transport and pubs❤️❤️

I've been on a train a fair few times.....they only use the window seats plus none are reserved. TBH most times the carriages were pretty much empty

Mr (whiter than white) Dominic Commings has been casting (his) pearls before (government) swine!

Hi EFFT He is nasty  plonker  ….talk about an adviser scorned …even if some of what he’s saying is probably correct!

Yes, I'm sure some of it is true, but he's the last person to be holding everyone to account. And even if his trip to Durham was partially due to death threats I'm sure something other than a several hundred mile trip could have been arranged!

I totally agree EFFT …and I’m afraid I don’t believe the death threat stuff….he’s already spun enough yarns about the reasons for the trip !

I think this is spiteful revenge….and even if a quarter of things he says were said ,then context is everything and just spouting off is not worth listening to

Yep. Like the last 'opening up' I reckon they're doing too much all at the same time!

I agree EFFT ….and I reckon we will see an upturn in hospitalisation in the next 2 weeks as well !

An article saying scientists are seeing the first signs of what could be a third wave and urging that the next round of easing be put back a few more weeks - bet it won't be though!!!
