I'm trying to add some posts onto the page 8 of the CBB thread to move it to page 9
There is a code fault in the script on the page and it isn't showing up in IE, the end of the page is missing.
I can see the page now I am home because if you use Firefox its OK.
The picture I posted earlier of Stacey was a Twitpic posted by Dannii and I think it had a time limit on it, which expired.
Emptybox...
what a beautiful photo, you really do have a talent with photography to take a piccy like that. Please, please, don't make it the last photo you post though, I love to see them, and hear about where you live. As I do for Hicky too.
I can't believe you have 18 inches of snow now. We only had one inch here. Yes I keep hearing the Borders mentioned, whenever they talk of bad weather, and I think of you soldiering on. I so hope you don't get the power cuts. Not only will that mean cold, but nothing to do for you, and no posting either.
Hicky..Glad your throat isn't too bad, hopefully you will shake it off completely soon. Do you have a day off tommorrow? I think you could do with a rest after being so busy at work today, and having this cold.
I had trouble posting here today, so maybe they are having a general problem here. I lost my earlier post completely, the icons thing seems to go wrong, then I lost the whole post. Strange...
What a lovely piccy of Stacy. I hope she does well for herself, she is such a nice girl.
Hope you all enjoy CBB , and hope Emptybox's power stays on, so he can continue enjoying it.
Glad you liked the pic. The composition turned out well in that one, but that was purely by accident.
I'm also having trouble posting on here, and also on Digital Spy as well.
Wonder if the weather can affect these things??
Celebrity Big Brother: Katia and Jonas step up the flirting... as he calls her his 'soulmate'
By Lizzie Smith
Last updated at 11:58 PM on 06th January 2010
He's 37 years younger than her last squeeze, Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood.
But that hasn't stopped Katia Ivanova developing the hots for Swedish DJ Basshunter.
The pair spent Tuesday evening flirting in the snow, slow dancing to Puppy Love, sung by Sisqo and Sov.
A good couple? Basshunter and Katia Ivanova slow dance in the snow as Lady Sov sings Puppy Love
Good friends: Sisqo said the pair were 'both kinda goofy'
Some other people have posted their snow pics as well.
That Jonas is a strange one Hicky.
Emptybox
thank you for giving the link to your other lovely snowy piccy.
I hope Hicky is enjoying a well deservered lie in today, and that his cold is feeling a bit better.
It is very icy here this morning. The thermometer showed minus 14 on the ground at 8am this morning.
I agree Emptybox... Jonas is really strange, and Stephen is just weird. I can see he is going to drive the others round the bend as time goes on. All makes for an interesting CBB though.
-14 Mollie.
That beats me.
We were down to -12 again last night, and it was -10 at 11am when I looked, but thankfully we haven't had any new snow.
I made a start at digging the car out again, but it was too cold on the hands, even through gloves. Not going anywhere today anyway. It's lovely and sunny at the mo.
The postman didn't venture out Yesterday, and I doubt he'll come today either?
Great Snow pics i've seen.
Very Sunny here today, but temperature seems to be 2 deg, but they say ut's going to be -2 deg, but they change their mind all the time.
Just cooked a nice brekkie for us, mini Sausages black pud and beans with toast.
Did a bit of coughing in the night, but throat wasn't sore at all.
Our road is like a skid pan, will be going out soon, need some fuel and a paper, also going to see if I can get any grit from B&Q to do the pavement.
Have got some CBB recordings to watch as well.
Think Dancing on Ice starts again on Sunday as well.
if you had a digital thermometer, I expect your ground temperature would also of been that low, or lower. The local weather showed us at minus 6 at the same time, so the local weather report must of used the air temperature.
Yes good idea to stay in as it is so cold for you to dig your car out.
Wonder when your postie will come again?
Hicky...Glad your throat isn't sore now, let's hope the cough eases soon. My lads throat is ok now, but he too has the cough at night. Hope you managed to negiate the icy road to go out for your fuel.
I think I heard them say that there was an introduction show for the iceskating on Friday, then the first skating on Sunday.
I wonder if they have an eviction for CBB on Friday?
hope you are well.
I like your kittie avatar.
Well no postie again Today, and as he brings my paper as well, that means I haven't had a paper either.
They may not be allowed to work when it's so cold? As I said, it was killing my hands shovelling snow, and that was with gloves on.
Also they tend to have diesel vans, which might be difficult to get going in the early morning, when it's below -10 degrees?
I don't think it can be the roads, because they are passable, and he came on Tuesday OK?
Just done some hoovering, and I'm going to see if I've got to make any invoices out. But as I didn't do much work in December, I doubt there'll be many.
Went out for a spin.
Just went for a paper, and some Diesel, went to find some grit to put down on the pavement, but could only fine paving mix, might have done, but I might get in trouble for putting it down.
Took one of mylads to get his Gas van, he had to abandon it when the bad weather came as he couldn't get it home.
He got it home anyway.
My boss rang, he wants me to go in tomorrow instead of Monday,
My O/H was a bit concerned on the ice, she kept saying, "I'm sure I felt the car slip", it was great fun.
Just watching a recording from the today live show.
The last night live show had those 2 Bass & Sov locked in a room, They filmed them for 3 hours, they might have had to stay awake, not sure what the task was.
Hi Emptybox please let's see more of your lovely snow pics
Hickey thanks and keep the news coming here

Tim Westwood set to join Celebrity Big Brother?
DJ Tim Westwood could be set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother House if updates on his Twitter account are accurate.
07 January 2010 15:41 PM
The Pimp My Ride presenterâs tweets seem to confirm heâll be joining Vinnie Jones, Stephanie Beacham, Ronnie Woodâs ex Ekaterina Ivonova and other CBB housemates sooner rather than later.
The 1Xtra and Radio 1 DJâs most recent posting on the social networking site reads: âRadio 1 management has allowed me to have 10 days off work starting Monday!â
On Tuesday he tweeted: âJust been asked to go on CBB! Should I ask for time off from the radio?â sparking speculation he was set to join the show
Westwood 52 is big fan of Big Brother and has appeared as a guest on spin off show Big Brotherâs Little Brother.
If he does indeed join the house he wonât be short of musically minded company with grimestress Lady Sovereign, American singer Sisquo and fellow DJ Swedenâs Basshunter already on board.
A former pirate DJ he is one of Radio 1âs longest serving broadcasters and is credited with bringing hip hop to the masses in the UK.
Despite being well repected in the music biz the English middle class DJ has nonetheless often been mocked adopting black street slang, with Sacha Baron Cohen his accent was the inspiration behind the creation of comedy character Ali G.
He was injured in a drive by shooting in Kennington, South London in 1999They kep Bass and Kat awake till about 4 in the morning, just as Vinny who had probably been up for an hour was in the kitchen making some fruit salad or something for tomorrow.
At about 5am he went back to the snug outside and wrapped himself up a chair to sleep.
It looks like -7 deg C on my reading on the snow on the ground.
Forecast says the overnight Low is -6.
Give or take an icicle.
And I'm working tomorrow now, never mind
are you watching that new programme with Bill Bailey on Sky right now? They are in Solway Firth, doing a bird watching competion between 2 teams. I am enjoying it.
have you been to solway Firth, it isn't far from you , is it?
You can go backwards from the bottom to read earlier posys.

Hicky...
well i had to at you saying you went for a spin with your OH, and whilst you were having fun, your OH was clinging on for dear life, saying she could feel the car slipping on the ice...
Well Hicky, can't believe it, but it now seems that my thermometer was deadly accurate when it showed minus 14 this morning. They said tonight on the local news, that Wales was the coldest place early this morning, because it was minus 14. So the thermometer was dead right.
Don't think it is as cold tonight though. Will take a measurement later.
Hope you manage getting to work ok tommorrow, you must take care walking over the car park though.
CBB...Do you think they having this DJ fella go in now instead of that girl you mentioned the other day?
Thanks for keeping us up to date with the CBB news from your overnight livefeed.
What is your son's gas van? does he have to transoport gas cannisters for work? Did it get stuck in the snow? Did he have to walk home when it got stuck?
Emptybox..
at least you have had time to keep up to date with your paperwork whilst we have had this bad weather. Hope you weren't expecting anything important in the post?
Nearly CBB time.
She's ultra sensitive to the wheels skidding, but with the traction control on the 4 wheel drive you can hardly feel a thing.
Mind you I do it on purpose to try and see how slippy the road is, if you only try it for a sec it's ok, because if you are really skidding on the ice without traction control you would normally take the brake off because wheels can't turn a corner if they are stopped.
But with traction control you have to drive different, if you take the brakes off when you are skidding you won't stop, so you keep them on if you want to stop.
I don't really want any more fellers to go in.
My Lad has a British Gas Boiler installation van.
It got stuck on his way home so he had to leave it, it was only 10 minutes away, so the walking wasn't a problem.
Hicky....Good job your lad didn't have too far to walk home.
Glad you enjoyed your ice ride.
it is now minus12, air temperature, according to our new digi thermometer.
Goodnight all
Will have to get to bed, don't think that sticking them in the room without sleep was funny at all.
Temp out side -6, could be worse.
Drive carefully.
I'm glad you explained about your lad's van. I was going to ask if it ran on LPG.
I didn't see that programme Mollie. I don't get the Sky subscription channels, if that's where it was on.
I've certainly been in the area of the Solway Firth before. Quite a long time ago now, so I can't bring much to mind about it.
Not sure what the temp is here. I'll look at the max/min thermometer tomorrow to find out.
I think I might try building some sort of snow edifice on the lawn tomorrow. Just to see how long it will stay before it melts away.
Hi Grannyg.
I'll maybe see if I've got any more good snow pics tommorrow.
There's a thread on the BB forum where people have been posting them.
http://talk.gagajoyjoy.com/dis...t/139063258639635313
Only -6 here.
Hi Emptybox, don't think you can do anything with the snow after it freezes, it goes to a state like ice crystals and you can't even make a snowball.
Think it has to be fresh fallen snow to be any good.
I saw the snow pics, very nice aren't they?
Must admit the snow looks lovely after it has fallen.
I'm at work, no problem really, had to get in the passengers door, couldn't open the drivers.
It was ok after I was in because I could gently push.
I think the Deisel Oil tends to Gel at -10 or -15 deg, but maybe the Depots put somethink in to stop this.
Even the Nut oil in my kitchen cupboard has gone cloudy because of the cold.
But the day temperature is about -1 so that will warm up the car.
Here's my Temperature, Just put in your own 1st half of your post code in th ebox top right.
It says snow for a couple of days for me, Sunday/Monday.

X Factor couple Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs get their very own love boat as they reunite at London Boat Show
By Daily Mail Reporter
Last updated at 1:35 PM on 08th January 2010
During their time on X Factor, finalists Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs were frequently romantically linked.
And despite a month having past since they left the X Factor house, it appears the pair are still close.
Combining work and pleasure, the Essex natives looked thrilled to be in each others company as they were reunited at the London International Boat Show today.
Ahoy there: X Factor finallists Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon pose on the new Sunseeker Portofino 48 yacht at the London Boat Show this morning
Murs, 25, and Solomon, 20, opened the Boat Show with a photocall on the brand new Sunseeker Portofino 48 luxury yacht, before performing their most popular songs from The X Factor.
Ironically, while the pair were posing on a static yacht in London's Docklands, X Factor judge Simon Cowell is thousands of miles away holidaying in the Caribbean on a ÂĢ625,000 luxury cruiser.
Single mum Solomon played up to the nautical theme in a navy dress and red heels, while Murs looked dapper in his trademark fitted trouser suit.
The blonde singer looked in her element as she posed surrounded by uniform-clad members of the Royal Engineers, who showcased their waterborn skills for the launch.
This is the life: Murs and Solomon get comfortable on the luxury yacht in a taste of what their lives could be like
The gig marked the first time Murs and Solomon have been pictured together since they ended up in second and third place respectively in the X Factor final four weeks ago.
Despite frequent romance rumours, the pair have tried to play down any suggestions they are more than friends.
Solomon told Star magazine: 'Blimey! Iâve never kissed Olly! Then again you are the last person I would tell if I had.'
Rather tellingly, Murs added: 'Staceyâs very attractive, of course she is.
Hello sailors! Solomon is in her element surrounded by men in uniform
'I think the whole experience was amazing but in all these TV shows, people who form relationships, they never last. If you are going to meet someone on a show, itâs after the show that counts.'
While both are yet to sign a record contract, they have been kept busy with promotional appearances and nightclub gigs across the country.
Murs recently admitted he didn't know where his career was headed because he hasn't heard from mentor Simon Cowell.
Pop idols: Solomon and Murs entertained the crowd
He said: 'Simon's in Barbados at the moment. I haven't spoken to him, it would be too expensive to call him there. I'd love to talk to him and see if he has any plans for me or not, though.
'Of course I'd love to work with him again, but either way I'm just grateful to be doing what I'm doing and making the most of it.'
Murs also revealed he is yet to hear from Robbie Williams, who he duetted with during the final last month.
He said: 'I'm a bit disappointed Robbie hasn't been in touch. I texted him to say Happy New Year and congratulations on getting engaged but heard nothing back.

Hicky...
have you got rid of that cold now? Hope so.
And hope they haven't overworked you today.
What lovely pics of Stacey and Olly.
These 2 are very photogenic.
Glad to see they are both getting some attention, even though they didn't win.

Any sign of the postie today?
Thanks for the snow photo link, I will go and take a look, I wonder if you have posted somemore? You live in such a nice area, yours will always look good. Shame you couldn't see that programme. It is amazing how many birds they have in that area, especially those that migrate there in winter.
Just been to town and bought some more thermal underwear for me and the family. Not exactly elegant, but it makes such a difference to feeling comfortable when we are out walking the dog in sub zero tempteratures. At least my long johns have lace frills round the bottom of the legs though. And I am not wearing my trendy boots now either, it is just hiking boots for me in the ice and snow. I heard on the news that the hospitals are seeing a 75% increase in broken bones, so I'd rather wear my hiking boots than join those statistics because I am wearing trendy boots.
I have got CBB live on now. They seem to be trying different clothes on to dress up for some sort of task.
It is not funny to sleep deprive someone, but I dont think they were in there all night, were they? Just for a few hours, then they probably went in their own beds after.
But what i meant, was the funny bit, was the way they kept playing his music, and the way she said "why did you ever make this song?" I dont think he even wanted to admit at first it was his single.
I like that song, though , I liked it when it first came out too.
I think he seems like a nice chap, in that he didn't want to be mean to anyone by putting stuff in their bed.
I listen to radio 1, and they are all wondering if Westwood is going in. He might be interesing because he is so eccentric on the radio.
Any news if that lady you had the photo of, is still going in Hicky?
Darloboy
hope you are well.
Did you miss any college this week through bad weather?
Both of my kids college classes did not run this week, so they were well pleased, because that gives them more time to do their homework.
And an introduction to Dancing On Ice is on at the same time, so I wil have to set up the recorder.
And I have 2 Corries to watch because it is Gail;s wedding tonight.
Yeah only missed Wednesday, it was still open but ended up closing early so no point in going really.
Lol everyone was chuffed about the disruptions this week, glad they got more time. I always do my homework as soon as I get it so it leaves more free time and I know it's done.
I'm going to support Mikey Graham in DOI.
They also spent all night cuddled up in bed.
A feller never turns down an opportunity.
-----------------
Glad you still got out with your family. I bet it was hard pusing the pushchairs in the snow and ice.
Hicky... looks like that Jonas, didn't waste much time there.
Here's my forecast from that site.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/4300?area=TD5
Looks like I've got it colder than you, but you get more snow.
You're right about the snow. I piled up some snow in a rough pyramid and flattened the top of it. I intended to roll a large snowball to put on the top, but the snow was just too dry and powdery to stick together, so I had to settle for a miniscule ball.
No postie again Mollie, and I'm expecting some stuff through the post as well.
I got my car dug out and ventured out on to the road again. It took a few attempts to get out of my drive. The roads were OK, but the streets in town were terrible. Also there was a shortage of stuff to buy. There was no milk in the town at all, and I had to go to two supermarkets just to find a loaf of bread, and it wasn't my usual type.
Also i couldn't find any mince anywhere, and the place that sells calor gas was closed, so i didn't even get that.
However I stocked up on other foods, and I got some chocolate milk stuff, so I could at least have that on my cornflakes and save the proper milk for my tea and coffee.
On the way back i couldn't get the car to turn into my drive. It just wanted to go straight on, and I had to get my neighbour to give me a shove in reverse before i could get back to the house.
If I get any more snow, I think I'll just cancel my Dentists appointment for Monday. It just isn't worth the risk.
Unless the farmer properly clears the end of my drive before then.
I'm begining to think your idea of getting a 4x4 was a good one Hicky.
I collected my papers for the last few days when I was in town, but heaven knows when the postie will start operating again?
Hi Mollie.
Must admit I bought a couple of pairs of thermal long johns at the begining of this cold snap.
Horrible things, but they do keep you warm.
I got into watching Silent Witness last night, so I'll have to record that and watch CBB, if someone is going in.
Hi darloboy. I've no idea who Mikey Graham is?
