*night owls* hoot hoot πŸ¦‰ sweet dreams all of you, I hope you’ve each had lovely cosy evenings

I cooked pancakes for supper *leaves a pile for the buddies breakfast buffet*

The one night I forget to leave a night owl hug for you.....and you pop in

Have an early bird hug instead

Good morning everyone

It’s dry and bright atm, with light showers and sunny spells forecast.

Have a good day and stay safe, all

Unfortunately I don't speak Gaelic El.

I once got on the ferry from Oban to Mull. I landed up in Tiree. Hard night.

Might be barred from Caledenian McBrayne. Iona was great. No wonder John Smith picked it. And that's not political.

Still, the joys of youth. Have a good day down there. See Cheltenham have gotten pelters. Mad that was.

@~Sparkling Summer~ HMRC updated their page on the self-employment income support scheme yesterday afternoon.
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/cl...ncome-support-scheme

A bit of updating on who can claim  - there's a bit on state aid limits - that's extrememly unlikely to be of any relevance as it's more to do with businesses which have been getting sizeable government grants.

The update says that it's individuals who will need to do the claims, their agents can't other than providing help and support.

No specific details as to the mechanism for making the claim other than online via gov.uk. I think it quite likely that it could be via your personal tax account. If you haven't already set one up it could be a good idea to do that sooner than later.

If you've already got a government gateway ID and passsword, chech via Sign with Govenment Gateway. If you can log in then you've already got one.

Otherwise Create an Account
The text in the income support scheme refers to government gateway so that option seems the logical choice.
continue
Under Sign In - Create sign in details
Enter your email address (the text above the box is a bit misleading so can be ignored)
Carrry on the process - I think it's self explanatory.

Do that when you've got time and unlikely to be distracted.

The income support scheme also lists information you'll require such as your 10 digit UTR number which you will find on the first page of your last self-assessment tax return.

Francis James Child collected 365 traditional English and Scottish ballads and published them around 1860 as Childs Ballads. Number 56 "Dives and Lazarus" is from the parable in Luke 16 v 19-31.

Ralph Vaughan Williams used the theme for his "Five Variants of Dives and Lazarus". He also used it for the hymn music "Kingsfold" used for "I heard the voice of Jesus" and "O sing a song of Bethlehem,"
