Good morning everyone, a beautiful morning here, still with a stiff breeze but loads of blue sky and an angel wing cloud right overhead.  I bet the wee ones are looking forward to Christmas Yogi, I hope they are being little angels

Enjoy your day everyone

Squiggle, I'm glad your weather is better than it was for you yesterday

Velvet, I sent my spreadsheets to the other accountants on Friday afternoon for them to do the accounts for filing with Companies House and HMRC. They came back to me yesterday with a couple of queries which were simple to deal with. So my work is completed other than any bits of tidying up. I billed the client on Friday and they paid me straightaway direct into my bank account

So I've probably finished though Brunnhilde is yet to sing at the end of Gotterdammerung.

They are really looking forward to Christmas and were very well behaved.

The BBC posted a few photos from Gretna Green today. So I had a look on Youtube to find this which is what the photos were of.

Watch full screen and keep watching to the end. It's really worth it.

I don't know how they navigate like that.

Good morning everyone

Sunny here and temperature well above normal for mid November.

Velvet, some explanations on why and how starlings murmurate:

Another routine client meeting this morning to return their papers and get their tax returns signed.

Good morning all

Weather is overcast with light showers forecast.

El, I hope the client meeting goes as smoothly as anticipated.

Catching up on housework, then grocery shopping. (Moonie, I’ll remember the cakes)

Have a good day, everyone.

Good morning everyone, a sunny morning and not too bad a temperature either.  When I worked in Leicester Square the starlings roosted on the roof and performed like that video clip every evening, it was amazing to watch.

Enjoy your day everyone

Back from those clients with signed tax returns and cheque for my fee

As I've mentioned before, years ago at the parents house, we witnessed a flock of starlings descending on to the trees and the roof for a few minutes as they were resting. We were in the glass conservatory so got an excellent view and we could hear them as well. There must have been thousands of them. Quite amazing to watch and to listen.

Quad events have been added to Wimbledon for next year.

The wheelchair events have been there fosr some time. Quad events are similar other than players have impairments to one or both upper limbs as well as the lower limbs.

Wasn’t there a band called A Flock of Seagulls?

Yes, there was. Can't say I'd heard of them, did a search, listened for a few seconds to one of their songs before stopping so that I didn't get a headache

So I won't post a video

Good morning everyone

Very cloudy day here but still mild. Another couple of mild days then it's forecast to become cold for a long long time.
