It’s so windy and wet up here, the two rose bushes in pots at the front door blew over. Mr Y went out and pushed them against the wall.

My shrub rose bush is in the back garden and is shielded from the wind

The weather is like October - it’s awful for August

yes - not been brilliant here today but that sounds awful

I think it’s to improve at the weekend, thank goodness

yes looks like some sunshine is coming

I cut my finger in the kitchen this afternoon and grabbed a plaster from the box I keep for the tiddlers - I’m sporting a green plaster with cartoon pups, cats and chickens on it.

AwwwwWe used to have those in our cupboard from when my grandkids were around

BB insists that I buy β€œboys plasters” and separate β€œgirls plasters” (no way he’s going to sport a Disney Princess plasterπŸ˜‚ but I got some of these cartoon ones because they’re gender neutral - I’m a very β€œwoke” granny...NOT!

I’ve got grown up plasters in the First Aid Box upstairs. I must remember to change it before I go out tomorrow
