What happened ?

A certain person who works for the civil service had to go into work on Monday, only 5 people in their department of normally 80. Email arrived today saying someone had tested positive, and they were also working Monday. They refuse to name the person infected, refused to say which department they worked in and even what floor they were on

Now how do you know you have been in contact with that person or not, this is a government department fgs! Luckily through contacts we know the person was not on the same floor, other people in that building were and they are not entitled to know if they have been in contact with the infected person...what is the point of track and trace if they are not allowing you to know and protect your family and friends.

Boils down to privacy and data protection I suppose, but in this case it seems somewhat bonkers

I'm not giving Cerco any of my data, but as I'm in a very low infection area and use commonsense in avoiding most places then I don't really see the need tbh❀️

omg kayteee agree with the Cerco thing-just thought about it due to work and yes I am careful as well and places  where we do eat out have brilliant social distancing and cleanliness

what is the point Baz, it makes you wonder wtf these cretins are really up to.....also, when the certain person I know had to have a test a fortnight ago, they checked their log today after the email arrived. Their manager had marked the persons time off for a Covid test has an urgent appointment that had to be attended and not put it down as a Covid test.
