DISLIKES this time

1. All the charity adverts on telly - spoiling my selfish gluttony - how dare they!!

2. Adverts pushing stuff none of us really need - Alexa play my favourite song cos i can't be bothered to push a button.

3. The weather - snow from 24th - 1st Jan on;y please

4. Buying for people who have everything

5. Returning all the presents i "got wrong" - as usual

Can’t think of five things, but ...

The washing up is endless

I hate taking the tree and decs down on New Year’s Day

I hate the fact that mince pies aren’t one of my five-a-day

honestly, I am clutching at straws ... it’s been/it is good 👍

Think of all those bulbs you planted in autumn. The’ll soon be popping their heads through the earth, with the promise of a lovely Spring to follow.

Hello people!

2: the in laws leaving people out from the gift giving.

3: the in laws telling the same stories without taking a breath or taking an interest in anyone else’s life.

4: the in laws passive aggressive spite and vitriol.

They were a nightmare for me last year. I spent the best part of a month chasing them up.  They kept saying they'd tried to deliver when they'd done nothing of the sort, the website stated the package was out on delivery when it wasn't.  Left delivery cards, when they didn't.  So know that one only too well!

Had all of that myself. When I see my parcel is being delivered by Hermes, my heart sinks. I'm OK with paying postage, but I want to have an option to omit Hermes from the list of delivery companies.

Oh i've used them and were great - will bear your experience in mind

They'll be great until they aren't; and then you'll find they're an absolute nightmare!

Exactly so! I've been getting stuff from that same retailer for slightly over two years and they only use Hermes and in all that time there's only been one minor fault.Rest of the time I've received my stuff 2 days after I ordered it.
