No, cant even partial weight bear for at least another 3 weeks ....but I can take it off when I am resting .....or when I’m asleep ,...but I’m too scared to do the latter yet

Yes....quite a bit later, a lot of very old stuff was burned when Constantinople was attacked and it's Great Library destroyed

Can't remember whether it was the Crusaders or the Venetians that did it, but all Islamic and other records was destroyed
