ye I often wonder about bias and propaganda -although there are various primary sources to enable judgement
In ancient times though,you have only the word of Pliny and Herodotus...as well as Livy,all Romans, no other records exist
aaahh thank you kaytee prob more later on in history-my roman history knowledge is very sparse
Yes....quite a bit later, a lot of very old stuff was burned when Constantinople was attacked and it's Great Library destroyed

I did edit and add -not heard of any of the above blush -wow didn't know that kaytee what a shame
