I was just turned 19 and Mr Woo 22 almost 23  We really thought we were so grown up ......our first next door neighbours were 26 and 27 ............we thought they were a bit old for us We're still good friends with them and laugh about it now.

We've been to see 12 Years a Slave tonight. I would highly recommend, but take tissues. I ended up using my scarf for dabbing away the tears.

 

Plus if you happen to be in Newcastle to go to the cinema, definitely try the Tyneside Cinema.

Joe at least you're up to speed now, it could have been much worse and you could have still been running a year behind next year when it's your 40th anniversary.

I know that Topcliffe church has or had the tradition of tieing up the church gates and having to throw pennies out to the kids to untie them? You didn't get married there did you ..........or is it a tradition in churches in the area anyway Thirsk/Sowerby etc?

I've rung the bells or sung in most of the churches in that area but know little of weddings. Like most of our peers we were married in the registry office.
