must trot off for a while

I needed to put down how I feel
Poetry helps me to make it feel real
I only knew her for a short while
But stood out to me by a mile

Such a sweet and caring young lady
Nothing about her was sinister or shady
Her sense of humour put a smile on my face
The photo of her shows she had so much grace

Renton especially is taking it hard
His time of work so tragically marred
I hope he has some Real Life friend
To help him through this to the end

Had a talkback session at work today
Gives the staff a chance to have their say
Managed to get a few things off my chest
will anything change...
or will the top knobs know best.

I now have a few hours to kick back and relax
enjoy myself to the possible max
will shower first and have a bite to eat
then think about what to do
whilst I put up my feet...

Today has been a fantastic day
Everything going wondefully my way
I started the day in a smaller size
Now a size 18 what a surprise

I started this weight loss at size 28
All I did was to change what I ate
Leaving all the junk food behind
Have been eating the healthier kind

I think now I need to exercise
Tone the muscles would be wise
Spent the day in the lovely sunshine
And now am relaxing feeling mighty fine

Well done Suzie on the weightloss thing
A better..longer life it will deffo bring
I bet you have already noticed the change
of choices..you probs have a whole new range.

I've been to the shops to have a look
I didn't realise how long it took

Had a look at a bank account of mine
Unfortunately it would not cope
But I will not give up hope

for all that weight you did lose
my weight goes up and down a lot
coz sometimes I eat and sometimes not

I have been told my legs are hollow
coz every bit of food that I swallow
goes into my legs, chips,sweets and all
but then I am a lanky 6 feet..quite tall

walking can be a lovely treat
and gradually your two feet
will be able to take the pace
and walk a much longer pace

I love walking with ipod in ears
and listening to tears for fears
or Madness, one of my fave bands
listening to them waving my hands

As it will be so totally free
Money is getting very tight
So spending out doesn't seem right

I don't have an MP3 thing
so will have to learn how to sing

Well over 40 years to adjust
caution and awareness is a must

Having problems in life that bugs
Is bad enough when the problem is us
But when it's our babies they want no fuss

I hope she will listen to wise advise
Getting her home we're trying to entice
But a strong-willed girl is hard to get to
I'm finding it hard to know what to do

Be strong and be there for when they need you
is really all a parent can do..
Fingers crossed and a hope for the best
it might makes things worse if you protest
A head strong lady..will always know better
so you have to stand back and let her
make her mistakes so she can hopefully learn
that there is always a different direction to turn
unless of course there is danger afoot
then I'd be in there with me size 5 boot!
