the different  acoustics in the small tiled bathroom and the open bedroom which is carpeted Yogi would be significantly different

A) How do we know he couldn't hear a noise in the bathroom if he stepped onto the balcony?

B) Didn't he say the fans were on when he brought them in? If they are like the ones hubby has, they can be noisy, and if he had his back to Reeva, he wouldn't have seen her get out of bed.

A) because the bathroom window is on the opposite side, he said a noise from inside the bathroom Yogi,

B) Because he'd just spoken to her, I find it totally improbable that he wouldn't have seen, heard or not spoken in anyway when she got out of bed and he was up. It could have happened that way...but like much else I'm finding a lot of it hard to believe Yogi

A) in that case, it would depend how far out onto the balcony he was. if he was only one step onto the balcony, he could still have heard a noise from the bathroom.

B) Fair enough. I do think it is possible that Reeva could have gone to the bathroom (if he had his back to her), without him realising.

But if Reeva was shut in a bathroom, scared of an intruder, do you think she would be considering the differing acoustics and taking a chance on when it was safe to shout out?

Yogi19

Much as been made of the fact that he was out on the balcony and that he would not have heard Reeva going to the bathroom, I finding it more and more that this is less plausible if he didn't go out Yogi, and in his affidavit he says he did go out.

Whatever happened, I think its more and more likely that he's fitting the facts to fit the case, but does that make him guilty of knowing Reeva was in the bathroom...I don't know  what is quite obvious is, he has told lies but makes excuses for them

no, but she would bound to know OP was in close proximity to her Yogi.

Depends where he was when he last called out.

Edit: I went out onto the balcony versus I brought in the fans which were sitting half in the bedroom, half on the balcony - nitpicking Nel. (Which is what he is paid to do).

he did say that yesterday

he said he continued to shout down the small corridor which looks to be about 7/8 foot guessing and stops about a metre from the toilet door.. he said he shouted the whole time, but this could change

not likely given that OP as a good Christian boy would never tell lies

I know.

I can't help feeling that Reeva is forgotten in all the game playing/point scoring between the state and defence.

I've said this for a while, Roux took it down this route...the character witness building was always going to make it more about OP than Reeva...it must be dealt with and rightly so.

yes those pesky police officers he noticed while being in a state about just killing his girlfriend, weren't wearing any protective clothing and therefore contaminated the scene - looks like Roux is throwing all and anything at this case - scatterplan shows he can't defend OP - it's CH at the very least and more a question of how much time he will serve at this stage in my eyes   OP is damning himself

yes...its as if he is ticking boxes on a list, but getting the numbers mixed up

let's admit it - we've got him in that prison cell already regardless of what other 'evidence' Roux gives us

Nel needs to be careful with his style of questioning. Even judge has pulled him up for it.
