It's just a pity that Siavash didn't vote for Lisa as he should have, but because he wanted to get back at Noirin he nominated her, also I think he wants Noirin out so he can get back closer to Marcus.

02:18 The camera pans around the bedroom as someone, Charlie, I think, starts talking in their sleep. Weirdly, though, as the camera gets to Marcus, he's looking straight at it - at ME! He really is Wolverine.

02:13 OK, he moved.

02:10 Freddie sleeps incredibly soundly. He's not moved a muscle for about 10 minutes. If he does, you'll be the first to know.

Noirin's ex wants her back

Ex-appeal ... Noirin
NOIRIN Kelly's chances of a reconciliation with her ex-boyfriend are looking good after he admitted he has feelings for her too.
The 25-year-old has confessed she is still in love with ex-boyfriend Isaac Stout while trying to put-off smitten Marcus Akin.

But Norin's younger brother, Columba, has said Isaac feels the same way and wants to be there for her eviction.

"Noirin has always loved Isaac," the 24-year-old told Star magazine.

He added Isaac, 23, was missing Noirin.

"I've been speaking to him a lot since she's gone on Big Brother, and he's been watching clips of her on YouTube.

"He knows what she has been saying in the house about him and is planning to come over for her eviction. His feelings are pretty strong."

The retail manager met Isaac when she was travelling in Australia two years ago while he was taking part in The Real World: Sydney.

While they were together, Noirin became a regular on the reality TV series.

The revelations may be good news for Noirin but Marcus, 35, will be disappointed - he has been hinting at the pair hooking up after the show.

Nick's still nasty

NASTY Nick Bateman pulled out of a guest turn on Big Brother at the last minute after hearing his fee would be donated to Jade Goody's charity.

Craig Phillips ... stepping in

The BB1 contestant - axed for discussing nominations - was due to appear during the show's tenth anniversary celebrations yesterday.

Nick, 41, had filmed ads for the episode - then quit when told he would not be paid.

The former City worker - dubbed Nasty Nick for his two-faced antics - said: "They were not going to pay me. I don't think I should take a day out for no money.

"Everyone was looking forward to me coming back."

Nick also said he withdrew because he believes other former contestants taking part - including Nikki Grahame, Michelle Bass and Brian Belo - were offered a fee.

Charity ... Jade Goody

But in a statement Big Brother chiefs yesterday said all ex-housemates were unpaid, with their fees going to The Jade Goody Foundation in memory of the tragic BB star.

Nick, who was set to face an assault course he hated during his time on BB, also claimed bosses had not told him about the task - citing it as another reason to quit.

Nick - now a travel writer - said: "I'm not as fit. Why would I do something I can't do on television for no money?"

BB1 winner Craig Phillips, 37, took his place on the show instead.

Big Brother chiefs said: "Unfortunately Nick Bateman was unable to take part in the birthday celebration tasks.

None of the former housemates are being paid for taking part in the tasks.

"A donation will go to The Jade Goody Foundation instead."

Watch this year's remaining nine hopefuls meet the ex-housemates on Channel 4 at 9pm tonight.

This lack of news is awful.
They should put an hour of live feed on instead of that awful BBLB that they show.
What a waste of time and money that is.

The whole show is about a couple of Fans, who is interested in whether they go in the camera run or not.
I can't believe have stupid the show is getting.
We are missing seeing them for the whole day and BB is showing us ex HM's, can't believe it.

Cooked brekkie today, the usual I expect, they don't have anything very exciting.

Have a nice day whatever your doing, hope the weather stays nice.

SOPHIE TO BE ‘BLACK MALE’ PLOT VICTIM

ABOVE: Big Brother babe Sophie Reade
12th July 2009 BIG Brother is set to play dirty and tempt smitten Sophie Reade – with a black male as a new housemate.

Now her beloved Kris Donnelly has been given the boot, the babe will be put to the test to see if her affection for him was real or fake.

Producers vowed to crack down on “showmances” this year and even threatened to expose fakers.

Their suspicions about Kris and Sophie were roused when the blonde, 20, confessed that she looked on the boys in the house as “brothers, not lovers”.

And she dropped the bombshell that she preferred black men.

She confided: “I like skinny guys with tattoos but I really like black men. Someone like Usher. Someone like that, really nice.”

So now the pair’s love affair is going to be put to the test.

This Friday four new housemates will be sent into the house. And they’ve trawled through their short list to find a black hunk.

They want to see if Sophie starts flirting with the new guy now Kris has gone. If she does, it will prove she never fancied him.

And she could even risk being put up for eviction for her love stunt.

A source said: “The romance between Sophie and Kris has been suspicious all along.

“He was known as a player and a womaniser who hopped from bed to bed. Saffia even claimed before she quit the show that he tried it on with her.

“Sophie claims she likes black men best. Kris never fitted the bill. So if she starts flirting with the new man, then it could end in disaster for her.

“It’s in the show rulebook on page 22 that Big Brother won’t tolerate fake romances.”

The new housemates will arriveat the end of a week of celebrations to mark the show’s tenth birthday.

A host of surprises are in store this week, including faces from the previous series entering the house.

I haven't watched BBLB, I gave up after it was such rubbish last year.
Such a shame they have given up on BB this year. If they had done livefeed, they may of been able to make the 10th anniversary special. Can't see the show continuing next year. And looks like Davina is after a move to bbc. I note she is on bbc tonight, the same time as BB is on.

Today I have to catch up with house work, washing etc. The Japanese tutor is coming, and I dont want her coming into a messy house. Big Grin Because the college gave up teaching all languages due to cut backs in spending, for my daughter to be able to carry on, we have had to pay for private lessons. Seems crazy to me, in the midst of a recession, that the g'ment make severe cut backs in further education. In addition to all languages being withdrawn, they have also stopped all A levels at our college. Good job my daughter got her place on this business course.

Enjoy your brekkie. Smiler

Hi Cold Sweat.Smiler
You are more than Welcome.

I can't really see there being any increase in viewers because of the Birthday week celebrations.

The actual amount will be so short and edited that very few are watching anyway.
There could be a small increase just for the week, but an hour a day is pathetic, and that's filled with adverts, so it's hardly worth stopping what you are doing to watch.

Brekkie was OK, nothing Special, just one Saus, Black Pud, an Egg on toast and beans on toast.

Davina must know it's all over, she puts on a brave face but the cutbacks are taking their Toll.

They cut out BBBM, stupid as it was, now they just pay Davina but sahe's under contract so it won't cost anything.

That's awful about the languages isn't it? I bet it's not stopped in all the other countries that are learning English.

Big Brother star Chantelle confesses to bulimia battle
Tuesday, July 14, 2009

A healthier and happier Chantelle poses for Heat Chantelle Houghton has revealed how she used to be "obsessed" with food and once battled with bulimia.

The former Big Brother star confessed to Heat magazine that she has tried every kind of diet in her bid to be as skinny as possible.

She even drank eight 1.5 litre bottles of water a day to fill her stomach and used to make herself sick after eating.

"It's a constant battle with my weight, and I'll always have an issue with it."

"I was making myself sick a lot, so food was just coming straight back out of me."

"I was obsessed from the minute I woke up in the morning until the minute I went to bed. I was constantly watching what I was eating. Food was always on my mind."

"I was literally drinking about eight of those litre-and-a-half bottles a day. The water would fill me up."

The 5ft 7in star's weight plummeted to eight stone after she split with pop star husband Preston and she then went on to establish herself as a glamour model.

"I have tried every diet there is, from body wraps and the Special K diet to just drinking water, but I know I have to eat healthily and go to the gym, because that's the only thing that works," she said.

"I've tried everything, apart from surgery and it can make you really unhappy about yourself."

Now with the help of new management, Chantelle has decided to turn her back on glamour modelling, and get her body back into shape in case she ever wants children.

"I know I look better being curvier, but I put pressure on myself. I know I didn't look healthy and I'd never want to be that skinny again, ever."

"My periods even stopped for a whole year."

"You know when that happens that you are messing about with the inside of your body. I want children and that can be affected too."

She claimed stripping off for the camera was a "big mistake" and has decided to ditch the fake tan and heavy make-up.

"I hated a lot of it because I felt like I was putting on an act. I didn't like doing all the poses."

"I didn't feel like it was me, stripping off. It was horrible. I went down the wrong route. It was a big mistake."

"I had people tell me that I needed to lose weight, put lots of make-up on, go out, etc."

"Looking back I can't believe the amount of make-up I used to wear. I don't even use fake tan anymore."

Chantelle also rubbished rumours that she is dating Peter Andre.

"We're just friends, there's nothing there. We have the same management - that's the only reason I've been seen out with him."

"It's crazy to think anything is going on. The stories about us having secret dates are totally made up."

Big Brother 10: Federico goes back into house to compete with Noirin
Mirror 14/07/2009

Big Brother is celebrating its 10th birthday this week and is welcoming back some of its past stars and tasks in commemoration.

Today sees the return of BB4’s Federico, who will go up against Irish Noirin in a gymkhana task.

She must beat Federico’s time whilst attempting two laps of the garden on a toy horse and hurdling jumps. If they knock any down they incur a 5 second time penalty.

Yesterday BB1 winner Craig Phillips paid a visit to the house after Nasty Nick Bateman dropped out over pay and the task.

Craig took on Halfwit in the assault course, BB2’s Dean and Lisa built a tower of sugar cubes and Rodrigo took a gamble on which old housemate out of Sophie Pritchard, Lee Davey and Alex Sibley would win the egg and spoon race.

This year’s housemates must win seven out of nine challenges to pass the shopping task and receive a luxury ÂĢ5 per head food budget for the next week.

The results can be seen tonight on Big Brother, Channel 4 at 9pm

Karly tells Soph: 'I'm a bitch'

Bitch? ... Karly Ashworth

MODEL Karly Ashworth believes she will be up for the chop on Friday because people will think she is a 'bitch'.

The 21-year-old was chatting with fellow glamour girl Sophie Reade about evictions when she admitted she thought she might be the one leaving.

The pair decided this week's vote would be influenced by Noirin Kelly's argument with Siavash Sabbaghpour after he told the Dublin retail manager some people thought she was a rabbit - jumping from group to group.

Karly told Sophie she felt trapped in the middle of the row and thought it would hurt her image with the public.

"People will just think I'm a bitch," Karly admitted.

Trying to reassure the Scottish beauty Sophie - who legally changed her name to Dogface while in the house - said the public would think the same about her.

"But I do the same as you," Sophie explained. "I talk about them so people will be able to say that about me."

Siavash, Sophie, Noirin and Karly all face eviction this week.

Can you believe what Lisa said to the ex BB contestant at the end of the challenge.
It seems awful to me for her to say that to shame him into losing.

-----------------
Lisa took on 'Big Brother series two' star Dean O'Loughlin in a task to build the highest tower from sugar cubes.

Dean - who like Lisa is from Birmingham - joked about their distinctive way of talking saying: "If we both talk in heavy Brummie accents, no-one will understand a word we're saying."

As Dean constructed a tower much higher than Lisa's, she seemed resigned to losing, saying: "At the end of the day, if we can't have food, we can't have food."

However, just before the alarm sounded signalling the end of the hour time limit for the challenge, Dean said "f**k it" and knocked over his tower, allowing Lisa to win

KARLY AND SOPHIE BITCH ABOUT NOIRIN

ABOVE: Sophie and Karly are no fans of Noirin

BITCHY twosome Karly and Sophie have been discussing their dislike for Noirin.

The pair were talking about the Irish beauty and were complaining how she is always so moody.

Karly hissed: "Yeah, she's never happy she always like this. She never speaks to me."

Sophie added: "She's really hard to talk to."

The pair admitted there is now a divide in the house and said there's no chance Noirin will be joining their group, which also includes Charlie and Lisa.

Karly said: "Whenever I try to speak to her she never looks at me. I really liked her - I got on great with her and then she said 'I don't trust Karly.'

"I'm just gonna stay away."

However, Karly and Sophie's discussion was brought to an abrupt halt when Siavash joined them on the sofa.

Noirin has now formed an alliance with Marcus and Freddie, aka Halfwit, after telling them she doesn't trust the others.

This isn't BB related, just a Miracle really.A very Touching Story

Girl's heart heals itself 10 years after transplant

Teenager Hannah Clark's heart has healed itself more than a decade after she received a donor heart.

LONDON, England (CNN) -- Hannah Clark is a 16-year-old with a shy laugh and a love of animals. She likes to go shopping with friends and dreams of a career working with children.

But Hannah Clark is no ordinary teenager and her normal life today could not have been possible without a unique, life-changing heart surgery.

In 1994 when she was eight-months-old, Hannah was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy -- an inflammation of the heart muscle that impairs the heart's ability to work properly.

Hannah's heart was failing and she needed a transplant. But instead of taking her own heart out, doctors added a new donated heart to her own when she was just two-years-old.

The so-called "piggyback" operation allowed the donor heart to do the work while Hannah's heart rested.

But Hannah was not in the clear yet. As with any organ transplant, Hannah's body was likely to reject her new heart and she had to take powerful immune suppression drugs.

Those drugs allowed her body to accept the donor heart but also led to lung cancer and yet another medical battle for Hannah that lasted for years.

Nearly 11 years after receiving the extra heart, there was more bad news: The immuno-suppression drugs were no longer working. Hannah's body was rejecting the donor heart.

In February 2006, her doctors tried something that had never been done before: They took out the donor heart. Doctors theorized that the donor heart had allowed Hannah's heart to rest, recover and grow back stronger.

Now for the first time Hannah's father, Paul Clark, describes the agonizing decision the family had to make at the time: "If she'd never had it done, she wouldn't be here. Watch a report about Hannah's amazing recovery Âŧ

"In the very beginning it was a 50/50 chance she wasn't going to make the operation. But in the next one it was even greater because it had never been done before. But we had to take that risk," he told CNN.

The doctors were right. Three years later, Hannah has no need for any drugs and has been given a clean bill of health. The operation was a success.

"It means everything to me," Hannah told CNN after the pioneering operation. "I thought I'd still have problems when I had this operation done. I thought after the heart had been removed I thought I'd have to visit hospitals. But now I'm just free," she said, smiling.

Dr. Magdi Yacoub performed Hannah's original transplant and came out of retirement to perform the second.

"The possibility of recovery of the heart is just like magic." Dr. Yacoub said at a media conference. "[We had] a heart which was not contracting at all at the time. We put the new heart to be pumping next to it and take its work, now [it] is functioning normally."

The findings have been published in the British medical journal, the Lancet.

Don't Miss
Spain leads the way in organ donation
Hannah's amazing recovery would not have been possible without a donor. Both Hannah's doctors and her family made an appeal for more people to consider organ donation.

"When it happens to someone close to you or yourself, you don't realize until then how important it is to be a donor and not to be selfish like, I need that part. You don't need that part. Give it to somebody else that needs it," said Clark.

"It just proves that if you can, be a donor. This can happen."

Dr. Yacoub now advocates "presumed consent" -- a policy by which anyone can be considered an organ donor unless they specifically request to opt out.

"All you are asking is please make up your own mind. Do you or do you not want to be a donor? My own family, my kids, everybody wants to be a donor. But if you don't, then say so," he said.

"Just please tell us what you want to do. So, presumed consent is a good thing."

Hannah has made a full recovery and looks forward to doing what many teenagers do during the summer holidays: Work at a summer job. Her family jokes that it's difficult to keep her from racing out the door now that she has so much energy.

For Hannah, it took the strength of two to help heal a broken heart, something she could have never done alone.

HOUSEMATES TOLD OF JACKO DEATH

ABOVE: Noirin was upset at the news
14th July 2009
THE Big Brother house has finally been told of the death of Michael Jackson, after a visiting former housemate let it slip.

News of the singer’s death was broken by Frederico Martone, who was taking on Noirin in today’s ‘Gymkhana’ task.

As he stepped into the garden - which was marked out especially as a horse racing course for the challenge – he shook Noirin’s hand then took off one of his white gloves and launched into an impression of the ‘King Of Pop’ dancing.

He then asked Norin who it was, and after guessing it was Michael Jackson, Frederico said: "Did you hear about him? He passed away, he had a cardiac arrest."

Noirin looked shocked, but didn’t know how to react.

After the task she was unsure if she could tell the housemates, so she asked Big Brother, before bounding back into the room to break the news to the rest of the house, who were pleading: “Tell us, just tell us”.

Noirin said: “It’s really big. OK, Big Brother said it’s not going to affect our task, but for me it’s a big deal because I really respected and thought this guy was great... But on Thursday Michael Jackson died.”

Her revelation was greeted with disbelieving cries of “no!” and “what?” from the housemates.

Charlie started theorising straight away, saying: “Well he’s in his 50s now, and he’s pushed and pushed himself so hard and it’s really took its toll on him.

“And Latoya was only on the Celebrity one in January.”

Later Noirin and Rodrigo discussed their favourite Michael Jackson songs, with Rodrigo opting for fan favourite Billie Jean.

A Jacko-themed task is surely a cert now?!

Thanks for the stuff Hicky.
Hope you've had a good day.

After seeing the reasons why Karly and Noirin nominated each other, I much prefer to see Karly go. Noirin's reason was quite justified in that Karly never speaks to her when Lisa's gang isn't there.
Whereas Karly just said she never looks at her when in a conversation and hasn't really spoken since the Siavash argument. Is that surprising as Noirin says none of Lisa's gang consoled her or even asked if she was ok?

They all scheme in there and maybe have gameplan's but some people like Lisa aren't very nice. Freddie may scheme a lot but he's a great fella and isn't rude.

Hi Kev.wavey

I've had a great day, was at work but took it easy.Big Grin
Karly has been a big disappointment to me, thought she was going to be a great HM, but she's just a follower.

I think Freddie is great, they will all likle him when they get to know and understand him.

Hi Suzie.wavey
Not a lot of news these days, may be more when the new HM's go in on Friday.
Hope you had a good day as well.
