Hi Ros I like acers

yes I do got 2 in pots - think I said -one cost about Β£3 from Morrisons - really grown now

That was a bargain, Ros

yes was about 3 years ago now maybe 4 - it was only diddy but has grown well

You must have taken good care of it

thanks yogi -they are by the wall of the house at the back of the house so a bit sheltered - they don't seem to like wind

It can be quite windy up here in the autumn and winter - geographically the village is up high - so they might struggle in my garden

may do yogi but maybe worth a try

I could maybe try it in a pot then I could move it to the corner which gets the least wind.
