Did you sow them on top of the ground or do the seeds need to be buried?
I just threw them on the top EC ....thinking I was getting rid of them
Do they need direct sun or would a shady spot work?
Both ....if my crop was anything to go by ....but I think sun
Where I live it's mostly grass, but there are a couple of patches of bare ground that could do with some colour. They get sun until 12, then the sun passes behind houses,
They'll love that! Mine get the shade first, then the sun in the afternoon.
That's good to know.
Just hope the other residents don't think they are weeds and pull them up.
Hubby thought they were weeds and liberally sprayed them with weedkiller for the fortnight that I was away last May/June. They didn't grow much or flower, but they didn't die and are looking quite healthy this year. So hopefolly they will flower June/July this year as normal.
I'll keep you posted!
I do think it is one garden that needs explaining.

I had one randomly grow beside my back door. Iâm guessing a bird dropped a seed. I pulled it up, even though it was a pretty colour.
I hope that it works. Anything that can help Alzheimer sufferes.

First thing I look for is fibre broadband, but given her wealth, she can afford to have it plumbed in.
