Good afternoon Darnies  

Not to bad a day here, for a change 

I am not long back from the foot clinic, again 

I went on Friday to have my usual foot appointment. Everything seemed to be okay but Saturday morning my left big toe started to hurt. There was a piece of what I thought was nail sticking out and catching on socks, slippers and everything footwear wise. 

So this morning I booked for an emergency appointment. They fitted me in for

1-10 today. Explained when I rang that I thought it was a piece of nail protruding. I didn’t want to mess with it because of my diabetes.

I made the silly mistake of saying what I thought it was 

So I went and the chiropodist looked and she said “that’s not nail it’s skin.”

I explained that I thought it was nail and got a lecture on the difference between the two. By that time I was just a little 

So I said to her, “well you are closer to it than my eyes, I only said said what I thought it was 😡

Anyway, she cut off the skin and it obviously bled and now has a dressing on 

I asked her to have a look at a toe on my other foot that was sore after Friday. She said as it wasn’t on her computer she would have a look, if she had time. She didn’t. So, if it’s still sore on Wednesday I will be on the phone again. 

I was only in 5 minutes so I am really flippin annoyed that she wouldn’t have a look at the other toe 😡😡😡

Well, that’s my day so far 

I hope you are having a better one than me

Afternoon DarniesAwwww Moonie ....that sounds a nightmare But hopefully they will sort the other toe sooner rather than later  Hope everyone else is having a better day than Moonie and I

It certainly was and still is. Like I said earlier I will give until Wednesday and then decide what to do and fankoo ❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗

Well I have to wait for a delivery ....but , depending on how I’m feeling , I might take a trip into town and post some cards etc .....or I might just stay in a feel sorry for myself

awww well if you want to stay in and feel sorry for yourself that is your prerogative I didn't know that word had an extra 'r' in it I just got corrected in my spelling

well he was supposed to be off Christmas day but now he's decided to open up at 2.30  he hasn't had a day off in 2 weeks and doesn't look like he's gonna get a day off anytime soon!!

big one started her new job yesterday...she said her feet were sore as she was on them for 6 hours but says she's glad to not be sitting on her bum all day

Awww bless her Hopefully she will enjoy it ....feet permitting 

I think it will be better for her working with a team of people instead of being on her own at a kiosk  and the last thing she needs is to be sitting on her butt all day

don't know what we'll do on Christmas day as we were going to go to the beach first and then he was going to work about 5ish but now it's so early...he keeps changing his mind  at this rate all he'll be getting is a bacon butty

no they just have sausage rolls and pies etc...am sure i'll go down to the bar at some stage
