the apology email was so insulting I've advised her that I'm gonna complain about her as well   I'm gonna want compensation and if my appeal is turned down on the grounds that it was late, I shall be seeking further compensation from them

they can't tell me - it's got lots of stuff that's personal and private so I'm furious.  I tried to phone to find out what had happened but the stupid automation system kept cutting me off - in the email she insisted I could have contacted a human on the number that was cutting me off.  If I was in a room with them I'd not be responsible for my actions 

If it doesn't arrive tomorrow morning, I'll have to do another one and physically take it to the department which is the other side of Birmingham
