Husband bought me an actifry so i wouldn't burn the chips..... It's just went on fire  I had it too close to the cooker and the flex melted

I got the chips out ok .... Back door's going to be open a while to get the smoke out though

  Thank goodness my husband works away from home, i'll be able to replace it before he see's ... but the smell of melting wire is choking me 

 Good idea to replace it before he gets home.

at the moment though they are very expensive - I'm not keen but I know they are better for you than bog standard ones so I force myself to eat them 

My youngest son has made several recipes from the book which accompanies the series, and said they were good.
