who the heck is Annabelle to talk about me me me 

knew Annabelle would target Ian and Karen 

I've just realised the problem with this programme, it's a bit like Big Brother in that we don't see much of the people, so what we hear at the vote we as viewers can hardly judge. We may be getting a false impression of the people on the trip.

by in large I agree EC however the sour faces Annabelle pulls and what she says to the camera tell me I'm spot in with my impression of her and it ain't nice 

I think that is sort of what I am saying. The way they show clips and focus on individuals can be manipulated to how they want the programme to go. It would suggest that the other people on the coach are OK with her as the sisters are not picking up armfuls of votes each time.

Also how do we know that everything she said about the new chap (I can't remember his name) is not true and he is actually always talking about himself and steering the conversation back onto himself and topics he wants to talk about.

It's so hard when we see what boils down to about 15 mins of actual footage each day.

I've got a bit of a spoiler, it's not really that interesting  shall I post it or would you rather not know

Evening I've not long got back , so not had time to watch the programmes yet , but will watch tomorrow and post my meagre musings

again I agree we can only go on what we see and what we read between the lines and he almost certainly does talk about himself only but my earlier point is that Annabelle in particular thinks the world revolves around her - maybe when she watches back she'll realise what a sour puss and how badly she's come across - you can't fake that sour face of hers

The bloke in the red shorts is a member of DS and will be doing a Q&A over the weekend on their CT thread if anyone wants to read

There's some old trippers on the thread and they give you some insight into what happens  they get their meals and drinks paid for at night if they eat in the hotel or some cash if they eat out, there's a car that follows the bus to film the coach arriving/departing

A poster on DS said if Darren/James were so hell bent on giving the new arrivals a chance, why did they not give Roy and wife the vote tonight?

Not many people are buying the dumb act sisters(more so Annabelle, the sour faced cow), people who are thick don't know they are being thick but she plays up to her 'thick' remarks ...so it's all an act.

I think we could end up being in a cyclic conversation here Pengy  but Annabelle could have been portrayed in a bad light by the editors of the programme, hence the conclusion derived. Personally I don't think she is that bad, I've not seen anything that would suggest she is not like any other girls of her age. I discount the vote sequences as they all get either offensive or defensive depending on the situation.

So far I am quite neutral on the new guy.

Alas I will unlikely see any of the remainder of the trip as work beckons next week. 

That all sounds interesting (as long as the inside information is not fabricated, exaggerated or wrong).

But I for one would like to know more - just in case I decide to go on with Pengy (Baz ruled herself out).

Deffo Roy.., he'd already decided to hate the new couple so we really didn't stand a chance.
They all met up in the hotel bar after filming so we were basically ignored.
He kept telling everyone that he was new once but forgot to mention that there were other new people and he maniplated the others to vote his way..
I was disaponted but he was so desperate to win that he did what he did to stay.
He had detailed files on everyone and must have thought we were a threat.
The only interaction I had with him was what was shown on TV..
I just found him too offensive off camera and I'll only ever be me.

Erin can you ask where Brendan goes at night, does he stay with them or goes off alone, thanks 

I bet Brendan and the crew sleep in a better hotel!

Brendan needs a break from us as we're together 24/7 so at night Brendan disapears off with the crew and has a well deserved couple of hours..., I'm sure he has the penthouse suit in every hotel lol
