Good afternoon apologies for being awol, just really busy. I’ve cancelled all plans today and told everyone I just need some solitude at home  

i’ve got washing on the line and have been happily pottering around. I think it’s time to sit down and watch the Royal wedding now #excited! I did catch glimpses of it from my phone at work 

El I hope you & your brother are having a wonderful weekend, any outdoor dining?? I’ve had breakfast in my garden this morning

Thanks everyone I've dropped my brother off at the railway station after a nice weekend. Due to the disintegration of the railways many of the trains going back have been cancelled, He may be able to catch a train which goes a different route from the route his ticket is for. If not, there may be a replacement bus for the first part of the journey, or he may have to wait for a train which does go the route he's booked for (that would be quite some wait).

Thanks Velvet and I agree that the railway network is a disgrace. I've suggested to my brother that he makes a complaint about this to his MP.
