Hi Yogi

Fankoo for doing my ironing

It seems to be a lawn cutting week for all of us

I hope your day has been good too

Hi Moonie.

My day has been busy but good - and had a quick visit from youngest son too.

I love the way your family just 'drop in' it's fantastic

I'm back from those clients. One of them "P" (who would have been a new client) had decided to use a different accountant. It doesn't bother me as I think he could have been a problem client. His mother "A" and his other brother "N" have been long term clients and she keeps OK records for herself and "N". She declined to keep records for "P" so he does his own records (or doesn't bother) "P"' line of work has no connection with either "A" or "N".

Sounds like you are better off without P.

No need to keep popping back Yogi. Enjoy and I use the word advisably BB

I think we must be bonkers!

Enjoy is definitely not the right word.

It's dire. I asked Ros to nudge me if I fell asleep because it is sooo boring.

Even the "dramas" are boring and contrived

Good morning everyone

Cloudy and breezy here and it could rain.

I have another client to see this morning "R". Tomorrow morning I have two clients coming to see me. Although one of them is scheduled to arrive at 11 and I've told the other that, the 11 one isn't known for arriving on time. I emailed him asking him to confirm but, as normal for him, he hasn't bothered to reply (he's also an accountant so has little excuse).

I hope everyone has a good day

El Loro

Thanks Yogi The accountant is the treasurer of an organisation I've been dealing with for many years. There have been differeent treasurers over the years, but in terms of co-operation he's not good. The organisation is connected with another larger organisation which I also deal with but with a different treasurer who is very co-operative.

El Loro

Good morning everyone

Breezy and a little rain earlier but dry now. We are supposed to have 21 degrees today with 54% of rain which equals high humidity says the weatherman

Yogi, I think you deserve a sympathy  for having housework to do this morning

El, I think you deserve a medal for the way you approach your work

Sweet and squiggle, I hope your both have a great day

Back throughout the day

Moonie

Good morning everyone, it was quite miserable early on but has brightened up now.  I hope the humidity level is not too bad Moonie, like you I hate humidity.  I hope the housework is soon finished Yogi it's a great feeling when it is - for 5 minutes anyway until someone mucks it up again.  My grandsons when younger used to drive me mad, I'd mop the floor only to go out a little later on to find it covered in mud!

Enjoy your day everyone

squiggle

El, it must be frustrating for you, when people aren't as co-operative as they ought to be. I don't understand them, surely it's in their best interests to co-operate with you.

Moonie, thanks for the hug.

Housework is finished but I still have my small spare room to tidy up. It has been taken over by my grandchildren as their toy and baby equipment room amd there is no room to move. I think some things might need to go up the loft!

Squiggle, I can empathise with you over the muddy floor. Boys seem to attract mud, don't they?

My boiler is on the blink. I turned on the hot tap and there was a bang. So, no hot water and no heating! Someone is coming to check it out this afternoon.

Yogi19

I'm back from that client with his papers. His tax is straightforward.

Moonie, the key is to be organised for me else it would disintegrate into complete chaos Also, be honest with clients, if there's going to be a delay in me doing the work, tell them and don't make a promise unless I can guarantee it.

I think it's going to be quite humid here as well. My local weather site says it's currently 65% humidity, outdoor temperature 21.7 but taking humidity into account effectively 25.6.

Squiggle, your grandsons and your mopping fruitless efforts put me in mind of that Dulux endurance paint advert with a cover verson of Brenda Lee's "I'm Sorry".

El Loro

Yogi, that's concerning with your boiler going bang . I'm glad an engineer is able to come out quickly and hopefully will sort it out soon

I think the uncooperative accountant is a very busy person - he has quite a senior position where he works full time and I think the treasurer work is not high on his list of priorities.

Hi squiggle

Just as I suspected, high humidity now

So, sun, cloud and very breezy. Good news, great washing and drying weather, Therefore lots of washing done and dried

Have a super afternoon

Yogi, I'm pleased that your boiler is back in working order

Treasurers are not easy to find and tend to remain in that position for years - I was church treasurer for some 25 years - it's a voluntary unpaid role and it's always hard to find someone suitable who's willing to do it.

Thanks El

I guess it would be difficult to find a replacement then.
