I think the reason it's called Puzzlewood is because there's a confusing maze of paths. there are strange rock formations, secret caves and ancient trees. And then there's the fabled Beast of Dean

It sounds an interesting place to visit, even with a fabled beast
But then, we have a Beast of Dartmoor...so a fabled one would be a walk in the park for us Devonians

And talking of ancient trees...
There is an old (3000-5000 yrs old) olive tree on the Greek island of Crete. This old tree still produces olives.

BBC Four to show a number of their old detective/crime series over the summer:

They will have been shown since either on the BBC or other channels. The only series I can't remember having been shown since it was first shown in 1989/90 is "Campion". That starred Peter Davison and was adapted from the novels by Margery Campion. Set in the 1930s.

'New Tricks' and 'Line of Duty' are the only two I've seen from that list...

Many of those listed are well known series. Of the lesser well known ones, besides "Campion" there's "Hinterland" which was partially in Welsh and partially in English, very good but very dark and "Law & Order" a highly acclaimed 4 part serial by GD Newman looking at the British judicial system. That is unrelated to the US series of that name or the UK series which had Bradley Walsh in. I didn't see "The Cops" which was done on a fly-on-the-wall semi-documentary style.

Not surprisingly, the Princess of Wales has missed a parade rehearsal of the Irish Guards today. She had sent then a letter.

As the article says she's signed it as Colonel Catherine. It doesn't mention that above her signature she's written "Quis Separabit" which is the motto of the Irish Guards. That's Latin. In English it means:
"Who Shall Separate Us?"

In Catherine's case maybe it should be 'quid separabis'

Hope she gets well soon..
