I find all this switching by high profile politicians and business men somewhat laughable. One would have thought that they would have considered their position long before now.

In the case of Warsi, what took her so long to come to that conclusion.  There has been plenty of xenophobia all along.

Mostly I think it cynical, getting their faces in the press coupled with strategy, I think some of them do it to make the Brexit camp look like they are losing support.

Leave say they didn't realize she was in their camp to start with

She was Moonie and came out on the leave side weeks ago, so for them to say that is nonsense or maybe damage limitation, but she was definitely campaigning for the leave side

They're desperately covering their backs, Moonie. I was watching the C4 news, and the reporter there uncharacteristically let his impartiality slip to mock that "Brexit" comment. It was well known that  Warsi was on the "Leave" side.

The irony is that one of the reasons Warsi cited for leaving was the "lies" of the Leave campaign - and their response is to lie about her!
