Hahaha erm lmfm 90.8fm local station do not listen on a sat morning. But they do the death notices, I do tune in every now and then just to make sure I'm still alive.

I used to listen to Heart all the time, but it plays the same records over and over again.

I have no idea since there are so many of 'em. You can't get much worse than lerkal commercial stations IMO. I listen to Chris Evans, Ken Bruce, and Jeremy Vine. Obviously I switch Steve Wright (as bad as it gets)  off and listen to my own stuff.

I used to love listening to Radio Caroline, not sure if it is still going.  Oh and what about the good old pirate stations? Sitting in bed at night with my transister radio pressed up against my ear, hoping to pick it up and listen to the music before it went off air

Me too!! Well, I listened to an equivalent of Heart, my old local radio station in England. It was the only British radio station I could get to from America.

Then the iPlayer started to work...

Only radio station I really listen to is Talksport, and that's not all day cos I work  I normally fall asleep to it though and wake up to it. I don't have an alarm clock

I remember on the old radios where you could pick up the local police radios and listen to all the goings on. That was fun

I remember an old bf taking me to meet his parents...  he took me round for Sunday dinner.   I soon got an idea of what sort of family they were...  when I sat down at the table and there, nestled in amongst the roast potatoes & the condiments was a radio scanner...   tuned into the police frequency!
