Well that wet kinda snow coming straight down. Don't think it will settle but makes a change from wind and rain.

After all the lovely sunny mornings we had a lot of rain overnight and there is snow on the moors. However I've managed to cycle to town to get m'bloods done, and then cycled nearly to Darlo and back.

Very cold in Nottingham tonight
Freezing cold all day, started to rain earlier on but stopped now and still freezing cold.
But......then again we aren't flooded like those poor souls down in the south 
so I call that a bonus
Been watching the floods on the news, those poor people it's unbelievable
Nothing short of scandalous, Aimee....and I've actually heard them trotting out the same old excuse - it's so extreme, we don't really expect this sort of stuff!

Yes I've just seen that Aims. The fellah that went back to his flooded house and the locks had been forced 
I do wonder how the world see us here in the UK ,we can't handle the weather.
Why did they stop dredging when the knew it worked?
This homeowner has managed to do something right and save his property ,maybe the environment dept should take lessons.

Apparently it was deemed that since dredging alone wouldn't stop the flooding, it wasn't worth the expense!

It's a bloody disgrace Aimee ,some of the people flooded were out their homes for 4 months last year and now again the same situation .They can't sell their houses so why can't their houses be bought of them (EA) and just let the water stay there.
