I thought I was registered at Social Strata, coz I used to write on their blog, till I lost in in the changeover.

Anyway - I registered, the confirmation email has come through to my email address, even though I didn't give an email address

Hmm.... okay then 

I thought I would mention that when you get to the social strata link there are a number of posts from people who say they have voted.  But the number of votes shown is  less. So I don't think everyone has voted properly.
Sorry, but it might be worth pointing out that to vote you need to click on the yellow star at the top right of the screen where it says "vote".

I followed the link to vote as I like the idea, but I couldn't log in, it says I'm not a member ??

You must be if you are a member here Van... surely? You have to log in again over there, but same id's etc...

That's what happened with me, it said I was not giving the correct password so I had to join again,its very confusing

It used to be until the big changes at the end of last year. Since then, we need to be registered separately  for this forum, for Social Strata, and if you want to use Livecloud there as well. This also means that if you decide to change your avatar or your displayed name, changing it here won't automatically change it on Social Strata & Livecloud.

No honestly I was banned from here and had no idea why. The e mail gave no way of contacting so I was randomly trying anywhere to get through to the mods.

Lori got back to me and said there had been an error - I was immediately reinstated. I was getting really mad - there was no reasons or anything!! Not like the old days when you got a list of offending posts 

All credit to Lori and co. - they got it sorted evenutally 

Soozy - I was anxious for you when I saw your plight in the Social Strata poll thread.
Then, relieved, when I later saw that you had posted again.
