Victoria is played by Abbie Garland and Albert by George Merrick-Cunningham. They both come from Haslemere in Surrey as does a Michael Nyman who suggested them to the Haslemere casting agency. Michael Nyman had a minor role in the recent Mike Leigh film Peterloo and knew people at that agency. Abbie and George have been working for that agency as bookers so this drama-documentaty is their first time on screen as far as I know.
