It is her BATHDAY!

Not a once a year special birthday Bathday.......but just a normal non-birthday Bathday. It WAS special in the sense that she hadn't had one for a while due to her operation, and it WAS special cos it means I can once again get close without holding my nose, but it is NOT special in a pressie/candles/birthday bumps kinda way.

It was just a bath.

Hope that clears that up.

All presents/cakes/sparkly pictures are however non-returnable.

The forum small print clearly states any gifts mistakenly presented to a recipient due to the lackadaisical thread reading style of the well-wisher shall forever belong to the recipient (and her feathery friend).

I did read on FB that you were going in but I'm so rarely on the homepage bit on there, I only go for the games really so I lost touch a bit - but I did notice that your birthday wasn't in my list today

Hope everything went well and you're fighting fit - I hate not being able to bathe, we have had no heating and hot water for nearly 3 days now as the council has us on a central boiler system and its broken down - on the coldest days of the year

I'll just be boiling the kettle to wash with lol. we are pampered nowdays!

oh thats rough!!

My boiler has gone kaput twice in the last few years... ALWAYS on the coldest days of the year.   Last time we were a week without heating.   Could drum up a bit of hot water (as we have oil heating... but water can be heated through the immersion heater)...  but when you have 5 pairs of tights, 2 pairs of jogging bottoms... 30 tops and 3 jumpers on...   you just can't face having a bath!

Hope its sorted soon Veggie.   Do you have any free standing oil radiators...  tis the only way we survived it...   they only manage to take the chill out of a room (so you can't see your own breath...  but they are cheaper than running a fan heater)

(& yeah... am nearly totally better now thank you)

They came round and lent us all a blow heater but they are so expensive to use and we pay through the nose for our heating and hot water anyway and no matter how much it breaks down they never seem to give us a refund. Profiteering barstewards

I know what you mean about the layers, I'm kidding myself that I'm a size zero supermodel under the Michelin man guise I have at the mo!

Glad you're better hun
