It is difficult trying to please millions of people I suppose so we get bland and inoffensive music. The only contoversy surrounds the "musical experts"  Just for once can we have some left field music?
As you may be aware I am forced to watch it  in a complex Match of the Day trade off.

X factor is a load of predictable, contrived shite.  With half the people making it to 'boot camp' having professional experience/recording contracts previously.  Same sob stories, same fights and controversy, same power ballad key change as someone is being told 'you've got FOUR yes's...!'
