Oh, I very rarely get up early on a Sunday.......that said, it's not the middle of the day when I do get up

I know what you mean, my rise time is somewhere between 8.30 and 9.30, but I would ideally like to get up around 7.45.

Hi Ensign,

You have me at a disadvantage, I take it Trine 2 is a game?

I'm not a games player.

More importantly, are you winning?

Let's call it an 'onorable draw

And yes it's an indie game offa Steam

It's not a bad film TBH. I have to admit though, it did take me a few years to get round to watching too

She also placed her somewhere that she needed to understand and 'manage' a relationship with the head of the house who was clearly holding a lot of emotional baggage.

Ãķstereich - you are a well travelled individual GJ

Thanks Xochi, I spotted it earlier and will give it a watch at some point when I've finished my catching up. I'm not avid watching, but getting the odd summary.

Cheers.

I don't mind liquorice generally but the combination didn't go down well....LITERALLY!

I know what not to buy you for your birthday then

But you will still be able to use the iPad via a browser instead of the app won't you.

I think it's a good thing, after all it is a good number of years since they were all in the public eye I guess. But since you asked I can't name the other two assuming you already know Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr. But from memory and I'm not cheating by looking it up I think the other two are Peter Lawford and Joey !!!!!!! Doh!  I may be in the ball park - someone will correct me.

The viaduct actually carries a railway line.

I have been through the Glen both on the railway and on the little road that passes under the viaduct. The loch is Loch Shiel and is about 35 miles west of Fort William.

Superb scenery, will have to add it to my list of things to do when I retire (I would not want to be restricted to just a week or two, seems to me I would need months to enjoy everything).

Have you been there when it snows Fluffs ?

Or is it inaccessible?

Are there any photographers books that you know of featuring these scenes or similar? I would appreciate it if you could suggest a few

It could well be spring, I did not consider the sun's position. Good point.

I don't know where the other picture is taken, it's just called 'Fortress'. What a great place to live though.

It feels like Russia or similar, Eastern Bloc. Unfortunately they don't give clues as to the location.

I'm really curious here. You posted this in July and edited in November. What took you 4 months to change?

It was the title. I wanted to reduce it down so that it did not take up so much space on the front page (it was very long).
