Not easily I’m afraid .....not since my husband died , cos I don’t drive .....and it’s about 200 miles away .....plus my birth home is about another 60 miles away from where my kids were brought up ....so it’s a double whammy

I’ve got one child up here ....one down south ...but no one where I was born .I moved from my birthplace when I was in my late teens ....then moved oop north when I remarried
My birthplace is about 30 miles away from where I live now, but I no longer have any family there. They are either all dead (older ones) or moved away. But even if they all were still there, the current situation means no travelling!

Morning/Afternoon Slim and Baz (and anyone else around). Seems I was very tired and husband had to come and wake me before the day was completely over!

I know what you mean about the shopping ....there’s only one of me and the amount I spend each week is ridiculous ....although , I hasten to say....it’s not all food . I’m just having a very anxious day .....which doesn’t help my ibs !

Bless you ....not really EFFT ....I’ve suffered from anxiety for several years ....made worse by the ibs ....and vice versa .... over the last couple of years ....just some days are worse than others ....and It’s a year this weekend since my accident ....and that’s playing on my mind .....bet you wish you’d never asked .

Oh sorry Slim , I thought you knew I fell down a couple of stairs and literally smashed my ankle ....spent two weeks in hospital and ended up with pins, plate and wires in it . I discharged myself two days before the first lockdown ....and spent the next 6 weeks sleeping on the sofa (and washing in the sink) cos I couldn’t weight bear and get upstairs Trust me , it’s no fun being incapacitated on your own
