I confess that I've been thrown into a state of confusion with The Archers of late.  There appears to have been a cull of existing cast members and we have to get used to yet more new faces (voices) -  Tom and Pip this week.  Now we have to deal with the revelation that Carole Tregorran could be a homicidal maniac and the prospect of The Archers leaving Brookfield, (a scenario that has, in some quarters, been likened to the ravens leaving the Tower of London).   All this whilst I'm still reeling from Lizzie and Roy's encounter.

Enough! I cry.  I want Flower and Produce Shows etc and not a cow-shit encrusted version of Eastenders.

You aren't alone in wishing that Madame ....although I think the Carol story has the potential for comedy Did you listen to tonight's ? I'm wondering how the cashing in of shares will impact on D & R 's northern aspirations ?

I wish I could say yes but I came over here from Germany with a Scotsman who didn't know about them and didn't introduce me so by the time I kept hearing about them it was too late.

That's a shame, Cologne, I think you'd have liked the programme

I missed tonight's Baz.  Will tune in tomorrow.

I hope that you're right about the Carol story (her re- joining the show has definitely been a plus point), we need a bit of comedy in the show.   Thank goodness for Eddie, Joe, Lynda and Lillian and not forgetting the lovely Brian!

I loved the wireless as a child (still do).   Hancock's Half Hour was my favourite
