Evening everyone! Well at last little gurl bunny Cleo seems to be over the worst of her illness. She had blood in her urine and was soiling herself, stinky and very poorly.
She's had her third vet visit and seems now be on the mend, still another week of anti-biotics to give her (She hates them!)
Fingers crossed come Thurday(her meds end) that she is ok.Cost me nearly ÂĢ150.00 various meds ,painkillers, special food and a day hospitalisation but she's worth it,my little grey fluffy bundle. Big Grin

Hi,Yogi, yes it is,Bunnies are a "prey" animal and as such don't give away clues that they are ill.All goes back to fooling preadators. They are silent and just lie still.Up to us owners who observe them closely to spot the signs when things go wrong.

I always state that rabbits don't make good pets for young kids, unless the adults are clued up on their welfare etc.

Over the years, we had gerbils, budgies, mice, goldfish and a dog when my sons were young, but no rabbits. My youngest son always says they were deprived. Big Grin
