I didn't post at night then, so midnight closure didn't affect me. What did was all the petty moderation and overenthusiastic use of the banstick.
It's much better than that here, but I do miss the C4 layout, although because we are allowed to post pics and vids and external smilies, that's a minor gripe

I do miss some of the mad mental posters we used to get on GBBF,especially when BB was on.
I really loved the Eve forum layout, but prefer all the mod cons in this forum.

Yes I agree ............I just looked on Veggies (arsenal) forum - as a reminder. It took me a while to get used to this layout but .............it's really like home now!

I love it here, although like Katty I sometimes miss a few of the more *eccentric* posters that popped up on C4 But all in all, small as we may be, I think this is a great place.... and am very grateful to them for providing us with a bolt hole when we got evicted

Ah Veggie, an eve forum. But do they have the same ultra sensitive attitude to profanities like the good old C4 BB site? Do they let trolls fire off thread after thread on the same subject? Do they let good threads fly off the board in a matter of minutes to be replaced by multiple threads telling us that "X footballer is a fake"?

They sure do, 10 out of 10 for consistency for Tempero eh
That wasn't the worst thing they imposed on us C4 members.
The worst was the "Hot Topics" system. 
And they cleared the boards on a daily basis.

But we had quite a few giggles, trying to get the post counts up, shopping lists, songs etc
