I've voted in every election since the early seventies.

Yes.  I don't vote often but things here are quite split at the minute and the people who usually get the votes have shown they don't deserve them at all any more.  They're more interested in fame and money then helping the community they say they are representing.

There wasn't much choice.

We could vote for the racist party, or, the very racist party, or, the extremely racist party.

 

I didn't know which one to choose.

I have voted in every election there has been since I turned 18.

 

We had about 10 to choose from, most of them were insane, a couple were a bit silly....and then there was the SNP!

 

No2EU is a left-wing Eurosceptic electoral alliance.

 

That was one of our choices.

Our voting 'slip' was quite a size; dozens of 'em on it.  Just grateful that the Andrex puppy wasn't around at the time.

Mine was pretty big as well, particularly for the local council elections.

We were only voting for the Euros.

Voted for both Europe and Local elections.

Voting lists weren't too long (only one independent on the local form).

Was actually a nice evening stroll to the polling station.

We had a similar selection of anti-european candidates on ours, Dame Ann.  I suppose it's possible that, as the parties were listed in alphabetical order and the main anti-europe party were near the bottom of the list on the ballot paper, some of their potential voters may have started to lose the will to live by the time they got to them and so stuck their cross by someone higher up the list.   Anyone standing from the 'Arseholes to Europe' Party (if there was such a thing) would have romped home.

 

I agree Madame A...its a minefield for anyone that suffers from dyslexia  I'm just hoping the arseholes takes votes from the other arseholes

I wanted an away break to Whitby.
You could have had a cup of tea in my polling station. As Mrs Jer and I arrived they were just making one! We were the only voters there, not a sign of anyone else.

 

I was the only one there too GJ, although two others walked in as I was leaving 

Meanwhile the extremely fragrant and desirable Ms Allsopp has appeared on m 'tellybox. Excuse me while I make my way across the living room to kiss the screen .
