I'm just getting over how many lanes are on that highway !!!

So ... i'm now working day shifts

And there I am at 7am, nose to tail in a God-awful traffic jam most mornings.

And i'm thinking "this is madness - no one wants to be doing this, so why are we?"

Take a vote of all those motorists and 90% would vote for another hour in bed.

I remember a jaunt my mum took us on around Europe in a camper van,  we came around a junction at Antwerp to join the motorway and  found it was an 8 lane highway and our exit 2 miles up the road  was in the furthest lane from us, I can tell you that  was the best laxative known to mankind.

You might as well live at work.

Something i've been told many times and something that may have made financial sense at times.

If you all did that, then you would all be in the same traffic jam one hour later

We would - but not as tired or grumpy or liable to crash or be late or pass a loved one like ships in the night . . . .
