When I first posted, during BB3, I thought everyone was the same as me - individual nutters.

Therefore, I never really felt like a 'newbie'.

It's slightly different on here, as people obviously know each other better and friendship groups form.

Also, because we are harder to find than channel 4 forums, one can assume that not many are true newbies.

I don't know really.I joined at the start of BB4 on the CH4 forum so there were at times thousands on line ,especially when The Tickle got put back into the house. It was so busy that it took a while to  "See" the familiar posters at times.

I stopped feeling like a newbie on Ch4 once I'd had a row with someone who accused me of "acting like Hitler". That was my second day.

And yet I miss the mad old days. You knew you'd arrived when someone took enough notice of you to savage you in a bonkers fashion

I joined C4 for BB9, and as a Darnell fan that happened quite quickly  

I'd been an FM for a couple of years before I stopped feeling like a newbie - but then I scare easily

I joined C4 for BB9 too and became part of the forum furniture in about a month or so

same for me 

Thanks Velvet. It.s not a question of whether i consider myself a newbie, but if the other forum members do? I know this is a close knit community from C4 days but time moves on. I hope there will be more new members for when CBB starts so that i can become " one of the gang" and maybe welcome them to this forum. I love this place so i am here for the duration.  to all of you.

Yeah! The only person I've ever seen call Jonesy a newbie is himself.

I joined the forum for BB7 and also joined RAS. So didn't really ever feel like a 'Newbie'

my house didn't get cleaned for month's when i found the Ch4 forums  my daugher said it was the worst thing she ever did signing me into it 

I would only post on off topic in the channel four one for a while, the posts slipped off the page in a moment on the general forum.
