When you put someone avatar in the reply box, how do you reduce its size?
The avatar, that is......

Click on it once it is in your reply box and it gets little square blobs on the corners and middle of sides.. to keep aspect ratio drag on a corner 'square' .. to distort use a 'square' along a side...

When you've positioned the avatar in Your Comment box, click on it. You should then see that the insert/edit image (19th icon) has a box around it. Click on this icon. Click on the Appearance tab. You will see that the dimensions are set to 50 by 50. Change these to say 30 by 30 and click Update.

Thanks, I'm so proud of myself - my son/kids however would be ashamed of the simplicity of the action. I can't see many of the avatars on the 'most active members' chart tho' - why's that? Anyone know? I have to master links and posting my own smilies now, I just got used to this on the old site and now I'm here having to learn again - between this and the new gadgets in my new kitchen I'll crack up due to technology overload!

The bit of software that is puting the avatars of the 'most active' FMs has got skewed and is in fact showing the least active. Many of whom haven't ever activated their profiles, which is why most of them only have a silhouette.

Aww, thanks fluffy - yet again, (wishes I had your knowledge on these things) I just thought it was me being pooter stupid again, plus I think my PC is 'dying' and need pooter programmer son to fit it , but as always 'Mother' is last as he doesn't think I need to use a PC.

Some FMs have added me to their 'buddies' however, how do I reply to their links.requests etc? Aww, goodness you lot have your work cut out with me.

Hover your cursor over the word TICKER on the top bar. A box will open with two choices....'My Ticker' and 'My Alerts' click on my aterts. you will now see a list of buddy requests and/or invitations to things. The buddy requests will look something like this - has sent you a buddy request (accept/reject)? Just click on the word accept or reject as is your whim.

This is because of caching.  The software, in order to be more efficient, caches certain images for a period of time--I think it's like 30 minutes-ish.  When I say "caches", I mean "retains" (I think ).

Oh interesting James,I assume the "Blacklist" is like the old "ignore" function.Not that I ever used it.

From what I have heard about the ignore function. It is not like that, but it stops people posting on your site or group.. I have ad to use it a couple of times.. Seems to work.

Hi all.  There's a few gingerbread man tweaks coming up.  It should be more accurate after the next update.

We're looking into the "Most Active Members" sidebar issue.  That one may not make it into the next update, but we'll get it fixed.

I keep mine in a little box next to my pooter Marg so I can use it when I need it

For some reason, I read this as "litter box".

Also.... the blacklist is not the same as ignore:  the blacklist keeps others from posting on your site, whereas the ignore list keeps you from reading what others say.  We currently do not have an ignore feature.

It would be much better if the advert on the right about Live Cloud was not there and the online names were at the top of the page, as the actual forum is too narrow, it would be nice if it it was wider this is the only thing  for me that spoils the forum
