I agree much neater and def faster for me...
I like it too.
I like the new layout - I think it looks much nicer than the last colours and the smaller print is better too.

Yes indeed, its easier on the eye.
A bit bright when i first logged on i have to say, but no doubt will get used to it ! Personally i prefer a slightly larger print as my eyes arent great these days, but my son says on Google Chrome you can change the print size, so all is well Seems to be faster too

Try pressing Ctrl+ that'll make it bigger - you can press Ctrl- to make it small again....if so desired.

I must admit to having rooms like that in the past (I've reined it in a bit in recent years). I once took a fancy to 'spongeing' - I sponged my utility room in a mottled effect in sort of 'stick of rock colours' pink/green/white - I have never lived that one down - it didn't help that I got bored halfway through doing it and the mottly bits got bigger and bigger. I've not really done a great job of explaining that have I?

I know exactly what you mean sooz. Years ago I decided to stencil a flowered border round our utility room.
It ended up with red and green blobs - very abstract!

I used to do the same thing, only using the mouse wheel + ctrl, back when we had smaller text in the past.
