There was a piece in yesterday's Grauniad about a potential Pergida March in Newcastle, protesting about the Islamification of Europe (and Gateshead)

When they finish I hope that they enjoy their stretch limo, school proms, coca cola, mucky dees, black Fidays, Ben and jerry's and other examples of American hegemony.

Those I've missed you'll surely pardon.

Yes, you do see a lot of that - although I am probably guilty of that myself.

Not having a go at you EC

We, none of us are perfect, it's just it seems some are quick to jump on a bandwagon sometimes

Maybe you should be more specific then moonie.

It's a generalisation Kaffs. No aimed at anyone specific. Just what seems to be a growing culture of late.

I'd like to think so moonie, but there are so many veiled (and not so veiled) comments being made at the moment, I don't believe negative generalisations are helpful.  I apologise if you didn't have specific posters in mind.

I didn't and thank you.

'proply' Dave does it, news readers do it, even people I used to respect do it.

More and more people are doing it.

It's  properly,it isn't 'proply' it has never been proply so stop saying it, it's not big and it's not clever, say it properly.

Stop being so lazy, pronounce the whole word,3 syllables, it's not that difficult.
