I prefer the link, with the thread title as a clue to what the story is about. Some links I prefer not to explore because the material is upsetting, so having it already copied and pasted takes that choice away. As well as that some linked articles are just too long to C&P.

A C and P (if it's done properly) with a link at the bottom

If it's one of the scummy tabloids, I'd prefer C&P, so that I don't have to go to their site and can carry on pretending I don't read such crap.
