I've just dropped my daughter off at home and her neighbour has had her's up since last week. Mad.

I seen some last night when i ventured out . I thought the same.

I love Christmas but I think it's more special to wait until into December!

This area has the honour of a house where the Christmas lighting decorations outrside one house, are left there all year round. Each December they simply plug in and switch on.
They look a bit odd during the summer though.

I got mt first christmas card this morning. She's the first to send every year but it's usually 1st December. 

Round my way it's tradition for a few houses to have their tree up at midnight on Halloween night.  True story.


There are now loads up round here.

My sister had her tree up almost 3 weeks ago!

She bought a new one and my niece apparently was dying to put it up! Yeah right my sister loves any excuse 

As I was walking home from work on Monday eve I spied an apartment decked out with enough chavtastic lights to light up the airport.

We usually put ours up the weekend before Christmas - and by the time it's 12th night I can't wait to take it down again!!

The people round here must think we are really tight or scrooge like, which I suppose we are. However we work hard for our cash and aren't going to fritter it away on some nonsense without a fight. Neither will we be the people trudging around in January feeling depressed. IMO.

I never see chrismas decorations ouside were I live with the exception of some christmas   light around a tree in their garden, but if I am being honest I love if I am in the car and see them outside other peoples houses 

There is a house near where I live which every year puts up a large quantity of Christmas decorations covering the outside of the house and throughout the front garden apart from the driveway. They had started putting it up two weeks ago, and I think it was just about completed by last weekend.

However, although spectacular, it's not quite in the same league as another house a couple of miles away who is a local prizewinner for their displays. They do this to raise money for charity.

Same here except I don't always wait for the 12th night more often than not it's Jan2nd!
